(Total Mileage Est. around 1300km+)

09th - 12th August 2007

Meeting Point: Tuas SPC

Meeting Date: 09th August 2007(Thursday Morning)

Meeting Time: 0100hrs, move out 0130hrs SHARP

Traveling Speed: At your own comfortable speed (Within your limits)

Accommodation: 4D/3N stay @ RM$432/Room(02 share for 03 nights)

Fuel: RM$150.00+ (Round Trip base on 17km/l fuel consumption)

 

Going

  • Meeting Point @ Galang Patah R&R, Esso. Moving off 0200hrs SHARP
  • 1st stop @ Pagoh R&R, Shell.
  • 2nd stop @ Seremban R&R, Petronas.
    • turn left at Rd mileage 284.5km (direction to Ipoh)
    • EST. 46km journey to Y-junction than keep right to Ipoh
    • EST. 9km journey to Y-junction than keep left to Ipoh

    [*]3rd stop @ Tapah R&R Shell

    [*]4th stop @ Gunung Semanggol Esso R&R (Meeting Point + Head Count)

    [*]Est. Reaching Penang (Penang Bridge) at 1030hrs

 

Returning

  • Left turn at road mileage 460km
  • Fuel stops will be in reverse order from the going list

 

Important things to take note

  • S$ + RM$ + B$
  • Passport 6 months validation
  • Vehicle registration card (photocopy will do) *New bike got to print it out on internet* (just in case we are going further north.)

       
    • If u r not the vehicle owner but a sub-rider, you need >
      • copy of vehicle registration card.
      • Authorization letter stated clearly by owner that you are riding into Thailand & with signature on it.

Riding Attire*Min. Requirement*

  • Denim Jacket
  • Mesh Gloves
  • Covered Shoe
  • Denim Jeans
  • Better Quality helmet (Open Face Helmet is not advisable)

 

Bike Requirement

  • Well maintained, general maintenance must be done(including replacement of brake/clutch fluids) & replace pump kit if u felt abnormal depressing, major wear/tear component replaced with at least 6months shelf life.
  • Chain/sprocket in good condition, well lubricated & properly adjusted. Bring sufficient supply of chain lube to last for the whole journey.
  • All moving components should be well lubricated especially clutch cable, bring a spare cable(optional).
  • Alternator/Magnetic Coil properly charing with good condition battery & healthy rectifier.
  • Tire & brake pad must be averagely new (60% good condition).
  • DO NOT overload bike.

 

Personal equipment check list

  • Bike cover & extra lock.
  • Own general tools.
  • Tire repair kit (foot Pump will be provided by MiCmAsTa)
  • Spare chain clip & chain lubrication.
  • 1 x spare clutch cable (for clutch using wire type).
  • 1 x spare rectifier (if with active faulty history).

 

Your cooperation is needed:

  • Please keep up as much as possible and Please Do Not Tailgate.
  • Do not fall behind the appointed last bike.
  • Please do not turn at any Exit/junctions, unless you saw a marker directing you.
  • Stop by the road shoulder (turn on Signal/hazard lights) when u think you are lost or Bike Broke down.
  • Always give way to fast vehicles coming behind you on the right.
