Lost road tax disc

friends, my road tax disc was last. How can I get a duplicate of it? do I really need to display a valid road tax or TP can check my bike no with LTA?

it is ok. the local authorities dont really bothered. But.....if you frequent malaysia often. then it is a must to have. nowadays the JBJ loves to disturb and fine bikers for not having road tax

Just say you left it at home and sorry about it. As long you have valid license n insurance to show. All is cool

Yes. In Malaysia. I was stopped n paid 300rm. According to TP, It was a compoundable offence.

They said we are using their road. Must produce road tax. Anyway can't argue much. They have to right to ask for my road tax n insurance since I am in their country. The more you argue, the more reason they have to detail you. One way to corner it out is to show your insurance. We need to have road tax first before allowing to purchase insurance.

If you do not have the road tax or insurance with you, tp will ask you to bring it to police station within 7 days to sow them
