But the entire process from registration day to owning 2B is like 6-9 months. That is just ridiculous. Rather than having so many different sessions, causing everyone inconvenience that we have to go back to the driving center so many times and each lesson just takes 90 minutes, why not several days of perhaps 5-8 hours lessons for the entire course? I personally feel that it is really made like that to deter people from even considering riding a motorcycle.

I would think its to ensure everyone is trained well enough for our very busy roads... if you are not aware, when there is an accident or a vehicle breakdown... the jam will start... and if all our drivers does not go through all these training. Then we will have alot of accidents everywhere...

My thought is more for those conversion license from other country. Most only take a theory test. They don't have a practical test. I thought they should have it... I know when i was overseas working they actually had a practical test after you pass your theory test...

Agreed with Siphon, our licensing system is pretty robust, to ensure that we are very capable and trained... But no doubt that it is pretty inconvenient and costly larr...

Congrats, and all the best! If you're looking for riding buddies, pm me your num :)

We're a relatively new group, started about 1-2 month ago, with learners and P plates to Cl2a/2 riders. All of us started as strangers, and we're always open to new people (and more riding sessions!)

We gather for riding activities, maintenance, washing, etc. and sharing of tips, deals (or as they call it, 'lobang') and whatnot.

Yah, so friendly. that instead of broadcasting his/her number out.

Its about how others should PM his/her nuumber to him/her.

Yes, PM, instead of broadcasting numbers, be it mine or the other person's. How is that not the better option?

Sigh, let me warn the newbies then.

There are plenty of some folks here. On this page. The register a new nickname. Probably since the old nicknames has gotten very stinko. And their contact numbers were changed or can be traced for some other not so nice activities.

Still, they will return, with new identities and gather newbies, starting a new life as well as hopefully gain new friends and targets.

Its almost similar to why some people will have aversions against people using private numbers. The suspicions is always there when someone wants your numbers. Either to chalk up on their 'friends' list even though they know nothing about the new friends. And its numbers they want to call, especially only when they are in trouble.

If one is say to open up about who and what they are, to prevent misunderstanding. Is to offer up one's number to be called. Where the balls should be bounced into another person's court. Instead of demanding that one should serve over the ball to another person's court for them to decide whether to bounce back or not.

Its about the same as. You got a problem with me. This is my door, I open for you to come settle things.

Not that you got a problem with me. Give me your number so I can go to your place to settle things with you.

I..still am uncomfortable with posting numbers online. I've had this number since I was..17. One number for life haha.

Anyway, we've had a few exchanges, probably not the most ideal, but I'll pm you my num - I've got nothing to hide. Just not cool with posting personal details in a public forum. If you should ever want to meet me for a drink :)

Ok. Received the PM.

Giving Cellardoor my number.

Everyone has good intentions. I see things as rosy, but as everyone knows. When you know each other longer in time. The feelings do get discounted.

I do have the rep to shoot first, ask question later.
