probably and hopefully the next round the coe will drop. maybe drop by $1k after the new MAS ruling for car buyers.

 

those car buyers looking at bikes as mean of transport as cars are out of reach suddenly was given additional boost of 10% loan. they might bite it and shy away from the bikes.

Last 7 mins, more than 100 bids came in and hold the fort at 6k. I am think that jokers could have just bid $200 or even $400, then it would not surge to 6k...

Market really so good for motorcycles? I seldom see FBL bikes running around...

i believe many bikes are "sold" to their staff if it cant be sold to public . then "that staff" will try to sell the bike as a private seller

unless there's any changes in loan or COE policy... bike COE will likely hover between 6-7k as it has become the accepted norm.

No ****. My DRZ only has till next year March to renew COE, I want to renew it though, since I'm keeping the bike.

 

It kinda sucks to be paying 6k for frickin nothing.

 

If they at least drop to 6k is like half a year of savings. Gone.

6k over 10 yrs... $50/mth bro. Problem is need to pay in single payment. I guess that's y many end up buying new bike so can take loan. Saw some ads dealers providing 0% down. More enticing than renewing

I don't believe in taking loans except as last resort. I turned to riding motorcycles because back when COE was only 1k+ I could afford to pay for the bike and COE together up front in cash full. Now with COE at 6K, it's just making it harder for me to want to buy a new bike.

I think new bike loan is about 4% now. I know you have your preference of paying full and that's good. But those who take loans are the ones willing to pay the current prices.

 

I was initially unwilling too... but after waiting for some time, looks like it's either take up loan or no new bike. So no choice since I want a new model bike... going to take up loan. I will likely self bid though, pay cash for COE n just loan the machine price.

Last time people (especially Chinese) say motorcycles are dangerous, no one dares to ride, ride a moto people also look down on you for being a poor twat, got no money buy a real vehicle like a car.

 

But those were the days where once in a while can pop a $1 moto COE.

 

Nowadays everyone and their Ah Mah getting a motor license and buying small kups, and new COE issued getting lesser and lesser. I think I should take my PMET ass somewhere else instead. The price is frickin ridiculous.
