hey i am interested also, diy ourselves is much cheaper and we can know more about our own bike.. count me in too.. just keep me update on when to meet etc :cheer:

total cost for DIY

 

1. neon light = $45

2. Horn cable bundle = $6 (heard the two share buy 12 bucks)

Third S4 Mass DIY Outing!!!

 

Date: 15th July 2005, Saturday

Time: 1400HRS

 

Rendezvous: LAB Kopitiam (Wait alone upstairs very sian one)

Hands on Venue: Multi Storey Carpark Opp LAB

 

Basic Stuff:

1. Removal of fuel tank

2. Plug Change

3. Air filter wash

4. Engine oil and oil filter change

5. Coolant Flushing

6. Replace Headlight Bulb

 

In the Last Session:

1. Neon lights DIY!

(Courtesy by ed127723)

2. Fixing of after-market horn (Stebel Magnum)

(I can teach u guys)

 

Session Special:

1. Lindavw Simple oiler.

 

Programmes:

1. Discuss what diy we doing.

2. Make sure we have the correct tools (Walk up and down quite Siong!)

3. Consolidate the money and buy in bulk (CHEAPER)

4. Shopping (About half an hour)

5. Commencement of Hands on.

:cheer: Thanks Ed.....he created a fierce red fire spec 3 n a devil yellow spec 3 yesterday.yesterday saw my friend(he riding yellow spec2)play with him a bit.....then i on my neon light....wow he say its like my bike its on fire like that v fierce.... :smile: Thanks again Ed....And to all the ppl who show up yesterday....Nice meeting u ppl....Pardon me if im too noisy.....just like to talk c*** ah ....... :smile:

:weep: sad thing.....To all new bikes pls install crash bar.....yesterday after s4 diy session,saw my friend on the rd then follow him to yio chu kang rd prata shop makan(just b4 esso n shell)just as we were looking at my neon light,a red spec2 skidded right in front of us.....(taxi in front of him last min jam brake to pick up 2 passenger)uncle skidded n lock his front wheel....dive into the hard ground with his bike.....wah me n my friend rush over to help the uncle......i help to pick his bike up n shift to a corner....After examining his bike,found his bike no crash bar....Wah the right side silver honda engine cover wah gana the impact..handle bar bend,right side mirror ganna,right side head light gana,pipe gana a bit throttle there got 2 cable 1 break.Luckily uncle is well build.....he argue with the taxi driver n the driver say he no sa la mah e-brake pick up passenger....So once again....all riders ride carefully,never NEVER follow behind taxi....They v funny 1...always do stunts...install crashbars..

can we do it on a sunday?? I want to learn hw to flush coolant but sat not free.. :sweat:

Philosophy A: Ignore what everyone else thinks. Riding is a better way to get around. Ride paranoid and keep your skills sharp

 

Philosophy B: Ride with somebody who's better than you. You will pick up a handy trick or new skill just about every time you are out

 

Philosophy C: You don't need a big bike to prove ur passion for riding
