DIY Oil change

Planning to change my bike engine oil and coolant on my own. Problem is; i dont know where i should dispose the wastes :/ any bros got an idea? Was planning to dispose it outside those ahpek workshops at late night but kind of rude haha

just put it outside any workshop. they sell the used oil for money.

Just dispose it at any bike shop. If the ah pek ask for a fee. Slap him. Then go to other shop.

i also gave up changing my own oil because of the inconvenience... in the end just ride to planet and just change there... quick and fast if there's no one else there...

DIY oil change cost me $18/bottle. Shop cost me $24/bottle. So I diy after buying some proper basic tools.

 

It's also when I started diy that I realize a washer was missing inside, probably being thrown away by the shop mechanics during previous oil change.

 

I also dun like oily fingerprints on my tank, hence I go shop only when necessary.

Can buy oil in spore and change in JB. Service charge about RM$10.

what oil to get for honda wave?

Any good reputable oil will do like Castrol , Mobil 1 , Maxima , Motul etc.

You can also dispose it at any petrol kiosk. there's a specific place to dump it
