Yo Phantom Bros!!

How much would it cost to change the Piston Ring?? (Ta150)

noone changes just the piston ring itself.

to reach the piston ring, you've to open up th block.

opening up the block is as good as doing an overhaul.

if your piston ring is loose, its time to do an overhaul, with a new pistong ring of course.

black&white saves life.

My exhaust pipe is faulty and i think it affects my TA200's performance in terms of speed...my usual max speed is like 100km before the vibrations get too unbearable.

Ah Chong from Planet told me a brand new original will cost me $300 and can only order from Boon Siew. Another option is to get one from scrapped Phantoms which i have been waiting for long time from him.

I plan to renew COE at end of this year as TA200 is a cheap and reliable mode of personal transport. Pls advise on my exhaust pipe issue.

Lastly i will like to change the 4 chrome panels (2 on each side) plus the 2 pasted on logos on fuel tank as they are worn out and doesn't look nice. Where can i go to? Thanks

It's best to try your luck with scrap yards man. They have lots and lots of 2nd hand pipes.

I mean i cannot even outrun a TA200 with pillion! Partially cos i scare all the 'clinging' sound will make it worst...

I have riders who pump 95 and have as good performance than mine...sianz

anyone knows how much to install the blue LED speedo light ?

The LED light all same type, generally $2-8, if i never remember wrongly, i don't remember paying more than $10, its only one bulb, got 4 colors btw, orange, white, blue and red. If you want, can also change yourself...

"Wolves and sheep will live together in peace, and leopards will lie down with young goats, calves and lion cubs will feed together, and little children will take care of them. Cows and bears will eat together, and their calves and cubs will lie down in peace." Isaiah 11:6-8

I just bought one chrome panel (the left one under the fuel tank) from LAB yesterday for $29.

If buy exhaust pipe from scrap yard usually how much?

How do i know when to change my spark plug for TA200? There was once where it cannot start then towed to workshop, i want to avoid such case from happening again.

Thanks

Hey tankee, exhaust i not sure, but spark plug is roughly $3 - $5.

And one should last you easily 1-3 months, if need to change weekly (assuming) might be an underlying problem and not spark plug
