Cos my is a nine year bike, so i suppose tio tard is a common issue for ta150 at this age, so i felt it's ok for the bike shop to do the decarbonise, the boss still show me the power of the accumulation of nine years of carbon, haha. But didn't expect the issue to be so 'big thing'

and ya, btw the k&t is just few shop beside planet and please please dun mistake that i am trying to say the shop is not good, cos the boss is a very fine person that help me do maintenance since the first day i get my bike(5 months ago).

OH Quality cannot make it ? :D.. 130 at planet , the chain is the Most basic oner right? I heard got 1 is 170 de....

the chain would be DID o-ring... well... you probably won't find x-ring chains too useful for phantoms, since when the sprocket wear out you will probably change the chain and sprockets together...

the chain can be stretched due some reasons, such as...

1. pillion too heavy

2. pillion land on the seat too heavily

3. box too heavy

4. you fly humps

5. you didn't lube the chain regularly

6. rear suspension spoilt, resulting in a bouncing ride that keep stretching your chain

7. you ride the bike while sitting on the pillion seat

8. you shorten the swingarm

9. your chain is rusty

10. your sprocket is worn

One more to add is that your axle is not aligned. Meaning if u tightened the nut on your left, the right must be tightened too.

Try maxima chain WAX. Never went wrong with it.

definitely can use x-ring chains... but I think... when your sprocket is worn you would want to change your chain as well... since they are meant to be changed as a set... but then... the chain hasn't really worn out yet... so there would be a little heart pain... :cheeky:
