ya O-ring is Cheaper also...

x-ring chain's main advantage is that it holds the chain lube a little better, so by lubing the o-ring regularly, you can make it last just as long. Just remember to lube regularly!

$190 =) see whos estimation closer. when are you going? keep me updated about the x rings k?

yea man.. lets see which figure is right ;-)

jtzx , Our bike can use DID X-ring? Some ppls told me Phantom cannot use X-ring... ??

yup we use o and x rings.. But x-ring better... i don't mind paying $10 more for a better ring.

definitely can use x-ring chains... but I think... when your sprocket is worn you would want to change your chain as well... since they are meant to be changed as a set... but then... the chain hasn't really worn out yet... so there would be a little heart pain... :cheeky:

quite true.. so must take good care of the new set.. Lub offen=x

wahhh... chain never changed before... I think you can change your chain tml (later today)... who knows your chain is 3 years old... and looking at how loose it is... I won't be surprised if that is true... as for you... change it as soon as possible... it is just a disaster waiting to happen... you won't want your chain to derail... right...?

anyway... I don't think you can find the brand on your chain... most bikeshops will put together a junk machine that somehow runs and sell them off... so you have to restore the bike at a reputable mechanic...

hey guys,

my TA200 seems to encounter a problem aft i change the engine oil.

i've change my EO (Chessa Chex 9000 10w50 @ planet) last week and the problem is still goin on.

nowadays when i press start the bike seems to take a longer time to start. and aft the bike started, the bike suddenly go dead again.

so aft i start i have to quickly trottle quite awhile den the bike wont go dead. is there anyth to do with the EO changin? or is there other things tat i need to look out for on my bike

jiawen: have you change your sparkplug??? most prob is your sparkplug needs to change already...

normally i change my sparkplug every 2 times of eo change.. meaning approx 4000 millege

Many years ago motor shop used to clean the motorcycle chain for riders. Now like not doing already. I learnt from one guy he brushes and clean the chain with petrol. Than he lubs it just using singer sewing mc oil. His chain look very clean. but have to lub a bit often. I m going to try that.
