Brake fail on me while riding

Hi guys, just now while i was riding, suddenly my rear brake fail on me.. I press the lever and nothing... Btw i am riding gilera scooter.. So left lever is rear brake and right lever is front brake..reach my destination and park my bike, few hours later when i started to rode off again initially ok, front brake got respond, few minutes later fail again... Can anyone help me on whats wrong with it? Do i need to change the hose or is this due to leaking on the hose ?? Btw bike COE expire next year august.. Bought it second hand...

Could be anything really.

 

air bubbles in the fluid, worn rubber hose, leaking brake line, stuck calipers.....

 

i strongly recommend having it checked out at a workshop asap, and that you cease riding until it has been checked out. I definitely do not recommend trying to troubleshoot the problem in this forum.

When was the last time u had your bike checked on its brakes?

stop riding it and service your brake as soon as possible.

 

I service my brake caliper every 6 months and brake fluid change yearly as my life depend on it. literally.

Check your brake reservoir see if its empty or not.

Sounds like air bubbles in brake fluid, lots of it.
