racing footrest...i heard its illegal and it carries a heavy fine...can anyone share with me how heavy that is .. thinking of getting one but weighing the negative side

r u riding a sp? i had many frens got stopped by tp/rov/road blk and nothing happen to their racing footrest.. not sure whether it carries a fine but no body really bothers abt it.. haha..

I'm gonna assume you've just recently gotten a bike hence the question..Let's leave it at if the authorities die-die want you to suffer they can and will summon you..So far they've been closin one eye..And for inspection also can pass..:cheeky:

I don't think it is illegal...I kenna stopped buy ROV couple of times but nothing happened...but one thing must remember...after you changed to racing footrest remember to tell your mechanic to install back your rear brake light sensor or will be $50 fine...

generally no issues for racing footrest on bikes w/ rear brake disc. but for bikes w/ rear drumbrakes, then gotta be more careful abt the large decrease in braking power & brake light sensor.
