i know. but if can use bike coe , why not. in usa, its priced around $20k which is about the same as Can am spyder. the high end spyder now in singapore cost around $40k, so maybe if allowed here, some bikers surely dont mind.

but , i dont think LTA will approve

I dun think lta will categorize this as a motorcycle by virtue of its 3 wheels.

The can-am spyder steers via handlebar, you sit in a straddle and your feet operate gear wnd brake lever. Essentially, bike seat and control.

This thing has car seat, steering wheel, gear knob and feet operate brake pedal and accelerator. Its a car, and lta will categorize it as such. A person with bike licence but no driving licence will not know how to operate this. By contrast, knowledge from bike licence, not car, is needed for the can am.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

I dun mean to argue but hor your statement "A person with bike licence but no driving licence will not know how to operate this."is not accurate. I don't have a driving license but I can operate a 24-footer trucker without any difficulty leh lol...

I don't suppose there's any news of this in Sg? Will be great if it ends up under bike coe.

My DN-01 is already 7 years old and I still enjoy it very much... and so is my Can Am... I buy bikes for the long term, not spur of the moment and sell after a few years.... if you really like a particular bike and can live with it, then go for it... I'm glad I did for my Can Am... now have money also cannot buy... last I heard, BS still has a new DN-01 for sale (white colour, 2010 model, I think!)...
