Porting the 2-stroke

have my bike done porting b4 and my piston nearly got jam because i saw the piston got wears off at 1 side when i sent my bike for block overhaul...........it can be quite dangerous when u gets a piston jam during ur riding on the road ..... ur engine needs to do modifications to endure the high speed and heat after porting too

Same bro. I never knew my SP i bought from my cousin had its block ported. Only when i heard abnormal noises(knocking noises) when riding, then i decided to have its engine taken apart. Learnt that one of the 2 piston ring has jammed into the piston. Mechanic told me the porting on the block was done wrongly and it was way overly ported. Even some metal on the edges of the port has alr came off. Just wondering, can a wrongly done porting lead to piston ring jamming and ultimately lead to engine seizures?

ah so what the mechanic is true. Thanks for clarifying. But i think everyone who buys a used 2 stroker shld be beware of this. Sometimes plp say "orh block original one, no prob" can be a hidden bomb.

For the 4 stroke engine, grinding can do numerical control spore.as 2 strokes, transplanting, re W sleevin / O sets of boxes. Can too.jus do DAT B do not advertise in the spore, because it's exaggerated and spend time not to make money
