The 2011 versys is at Loois already? Feel like getting myself one. Used to own the 2007 versys, had to sell it away years ago. Superb bike! Dunno what other bike to get.

Looi's quoted me 16.8k machine, which adds up to about 21k OTR.

 

I was thinking since it is being assembled in Thailand, why was there no price reduction...

 

Sat on it at Looi's and found it to be reasonably manageable for my height (1.71m), but it would be better if it could be lowered.

 

Any guys lowered your Versys?

Just rode the Versys for my maiden ride to Hatyai...bike performed well. With panniers at full load, speed maxed out at 183/km/h (not true speed - bike speedo). slight vibrations at max speed but very slight. Ah twisties at Penang area was awesome. Very happy with the bike as I finally made the most out of it and the money's worth

Anybody riding or Noe who's riding green 08 Versys lic plate fbc 8xx6...beliv it or not in 2008 only the third lime green Versys otr...sold it away sadly in aug 2010...all Versys owners shud go and conquer the thousand corners up north, Mae hong son!!!

hullo! i just got my 2011 versys, and am also sniffing out side panniers and crash guards, etc.

got a quote from biketech21 (dunlop street) on the sw motech crash guards - about $250. Online ordering seems to cost about the same price after shipping.

 

also, soft side carriers (hepco) are about $370 a pair, and their accompanying c-bow racks are about $230.

anyone has feedback on whether the hard sidepanniers or soft sidecases are better?

H & B enfgine guard is nice and easy on the eye cost ard $250. As for hard vs soft panniers. I guessed you will not get scratches when you squeezed with the kupkias where you cross customs and they are cheaper . For me, i am using GIVI.

Yes, get the rack at GIVI pt point KL Jalan Ipoh 2 . But for the V35. i think it is more ex than Regina. there is a spare part shop next to GIVI point , remember to get oil filters they are cheaper.

i read up versys malaysia forum(in malay though i am chinese) they saying v35 is 1400RM which is

Regina is renowned for "sorry no stock! pls wait 2 weeks + 2 weeks + 2 weeks....hahahha. You can try and see if there is miracle . The last time i checked they were cheaper by $30 to $50. Anyway you should take adv of our strong Sing dr.

I call biketech21 they say no stock too need wait 8 to 10 weeks for stock to come

Wan fast 7 to 10 days additional 20 to 30% more ontop of cost price

 

So i guess i will jus frab a crashbar at ah ann place since i am working there at e moment

Now jus need to wait for my bike to come so i can get e points

If anybody wanna get too i might to able to ask ah ann whether can make 1 or 2 set more
