Version S has good fuel consumption and is very easy to maintain. So far in my 10 years, it has not give me major problem. The only problem I faced was the faulty recifier or bad battery. But these are easy to fix. Fuel consumption easily hit above 400km without switching to reserve yet.

haha. broo.. just fyi.. if the occasionaly bad battery keep recurring, in a presence of a working rectifier, consult the mech to see if the magnetic coil is working.. have to change mine soon coz gone already.. keke

Oh...I got it changed few years ago after having difficulty in starting up the bike. But still the problem is not major yet. Hmmm perhaps I am just lucky Thanks for highlighting and sharing.

try to look for a pb1 if possible...a mainstand n a stainless steel headers sure is a big plus...

bros out there..is $4000 to $4500 reasonable price for VERs with 10 year coe somemore.

4k to 4.5k u can get a Vtec1 from the forums oready.. 3k + is more reasonable

i see..but i try asking for reloan over at asphoon..they said they dont do full reloan..but then again one fellow from SBF say can do full reloan...

Well my opinion is, if u want to get a bike from a shop and pay by installment, might as well get a spec3.. you're still paying around the general amount anyway. Also, you can sell it off more easily when you want to upgrade. Newer bikes will have less wear and tear and have higher resale value. The only reason I bought a Spec1 is because I paid full cash; would have gotten the Bol'dor if I had gone for installment...

 

But of coz, the sooner the installment end the better lah.. dat depends on how long u want to ride e s4.. get a vtec if u wanna stay with it for a while, go for the ver s if ur planning to switch to a cl2 bike soon. Cheers!

i got mine with coe extended for 4k.. its an fr plate.. if older plate,i guess u can neg more.. after all.. after 10 years, the road tax starts to increase..

its 10% each year until it hits 150%.. that why not many are keen on keeping bikes after 10 years unless it has sum sentimental value..
