Hi, where can I find a second hand brembo caliper? I just need one for my right side only. And how much does a new one cost? Thanks.

Right side hard to get as second hand, Brand new one will cost around $180-$200.

You can look for Hock Ann at 96256549 -Jurong scrap yard. he might have second hand..

I was lucky enough to get a second hand right side brembo caliper from Ah Ann. It arrived at his workshop a few days back. Thanks for the contact. Total damaged: $ 150.

U can check with HKL, last time when I service by bike, Mech cary one pair, saying one of customer call them to standby, his been stolen, so when ask the price he mention $ 200 + each.

 

U can try at Regina ask Darren, I also mention around $200 +, but never ask actual price.

 

His ur was stolen ? if yes recently?

Thanks for sharing. I managed to go to Hock Ann workshop at Jalan Buroh. Yes... my right side caliper was stolen few years ago sometimes in nov 2005. It was during those period there were very high spike of stolen brembo caliper. I did not bother to make another purchase for fear of stolen again. So with the right side caliper missing, I modified and use the left side only. I decided it was time for me to install the right side only recently for safety reason. I am more worried about getting it stolen again. Some of them even hammer the ball bearing into the bolt nut and make the nut rounded to prevent future problem. Some weld it tight.... doing all these preventive thing cos of thieve. Sad...they make our life like hell.

 

For a 1st hand at $200 dollar, is a good bargain already. Are you still with version S?

So long I can brake the front at stipulated time given is considered passed already. More or less the braking is still there with just one brake at the front. But more effective with a pair lor.

 

Mine was stolen in one of the afternoon at the multi story cp in singapore. Sorry to hear about your loss. So what bike are you riding now?
