Denso plug wat kind u buy? if u buy regular copper plug.. den erm.. kinda carrot..

 

Regular copper plug 3-4bux

Platinum Plug - Around 10bux

Iridium PLug - Around 16bux

 

eh bro tell u wat.. get frm Mr Lim la... (LAB) cheapest liao.. dun haf to scare kena carrot..

Thanks bro for your info. By the way there is another type of spark plug call NGK right? Not sure if I name it correct. Is it good or not? or is there any difference? or just brand. What do you have any idea the price range too? Thanks.

the price range is about the same... NGK is juz another brand.. but guyz i dun recommend u guyz get iridium plugs.. not worth the bucks.. u get very insignificant performance improve.. machiam like no improve liddat.. i tried the Denso Iridium Power on my SP..

erm.. Rite now i ridin cbr 400rr. there a problem where my one exhaust head does not have a smooth air flow .so i change one of the spark plug to denso.

 

.. but the rest of my three spark plug is ngk.. s would there be any problem in future or any advice i should change the rest of the three plug?

shld change all to the same one coz different plugs gives off different kind of spark and so the combusion is different in the chambers giving unsmooth response..

Im intending to change my spark plug too.. And do engine oil change.. So basically not much diff right between denso iridium and ngk iridium?? Any recommended shop open today in the east?? Ambas recommend me to go aunty shop..

hkl charges i think 4.50 for denso normal spark plug with installation. i change mine at $7 at ktl with installation..

 

 

ngkr also cost i think 4.50.. don know which one better? anyway i also change my every 4000km by hook or crook. so by using a more ex one extend the time of changing?

I've used both brands of iridium plugs.

 

Visually, I like the Denso quality better, its body looks like stainless steel whereas NGK looks like electroplated, hence Denso is less likely to rust on the outside.

 

I feel that Denso is better, altho it is not scientific -just a seat of the pants feeling. Denso=$16/pc, and NGK Iridium plugs (CR9EHIX-9)=$13 a pc from LAB.

 

My previous set of Denso Iridium was still on previous VFR800 (and in good condition) when I sold it after 2 years and 40,000km. My present set of NGK was installed 9 months and 15000km ago, also on a Honda VFR800. Still running strong.

 

For economic reason, I would NOT (editted, sorry for missing the word "NOT") use iridium plugs on 2-strokers as this engine configuration tend to foul the plugs easily.

 

Strictly my experience. yours may differ.

LAst time seen a post saying denso iridium plugs r not suitable for 2 stroke bikes. Last time even i ride kips, i used iridium power, starting really can feel da effect but after 2 or 3 weeks later, da whole bike no power already, full throttle go 60km/hr. Change a plugs.. back to normal.

BTw anyone noe where can buy iridium power at a cheaper price ? Which shop beside LAB got sell iridium ? FJT ?? eversuccess ? I mean da buy more gets cheaper.Da agent ??

I think ur denso $16 is iridium power ba. From wad i noe motordiam selling iridium power for $20. Which means DIY buy will be ard $16 ? Where u bought urs ??

$16 bought at LAB DIY install.. easy job ma.. aniwae i bought Denso (IW27).. SP plug..

 

i agree with the opinion earlier with iridium not suitable for 2-stroke.. plug fouling occurs quite fast.. dats y i clean my plug regularly to save my bux.. so cheaper copper plugs seem a better option..

i just bought Denso plug for $10 per pcs. Dunno noe what kind of plug is that. The mechanic say he sells 3 kinds, $5, $10 and $20/pcs.

May 2005 - July 2007: Honda Phantom TA200 (FU 3*** S)

July 2007 - Dec 2016: Honda CB400 Spec III (FBB 7***X)

Dec 2016 - Aug 2017: Yamaha FZ1N (FBD 4***E)

Aug 2017 - Present: Kawasaki Z1000SX (FBF 6***B)
