All my class 2 bikes are reserved for touring up north. 90% up north. 10% singapore road (come back from touring or occasional outing). For Singapore use, i do not have petrol concern as its found everywhere. As you know the petrol stations in malaysia and thailand are spaced far and wide.

 

From hatyai to phuket, thru road 4 every petrol stations are spaced at least 150km from each other.

 

If travelling by kuantan coastal road, mersing route thru 92, 93 or 94, aint easy to find a reputable petrol station.

 

If more time is spent to pump petrol and resting, the fun of touring is sorta spoilt. On my concours, i had gone 350km straight without stopping for refuel because i enjoyed every single minute and second of the seated time. Moreover i go with a group of friends, just dont want to kill the fun for everyone by the frequent petrol stops.

 

Wrong choice for a tourer. The Vmax is designed to be used in the city. Traffic light drag race is the sole purpose. (Royal Star Venture would be a better choice)

 

Small tank (short range) and lack of wind protection makes it a chore for long distance travel.

 

Although, if you were to ask our sole lady rider who travels far and wide on her max, it is fully capable to reach wherever you want to go.

bro, concours cannot be ridden anymore is not because of wrist pain la. Because its no longer mine liao. Vmax definitely can makan any bikes on the road easily. It lives for that sole purpose to justify its existence. The ponies in the engine are amazing strong and anxious to gogogo
