physical condition of bike

able to start the bike easily

ensure engine at idling at neutral should not easily die off

manual and boon siew maintenance card (chop by boonsiew for warranty)

bring cash card to check IU

tyre pressure

all signal lights, horn, high beam and low beam

lastly top up petrol after collecting bike (ensure fuel knob is not at reserve)

bring glove if you are used to riding with it

ride safe and dont do stupid thing

recommendations

change/ trade in stock tyre (bridgestone or michellin)

change engine oil to mineral at 800km (first change)

(refer to maintenance card for next oil change in running in)

try not to ride over 60km/h before 1st oil change (add 10km/h to every oil change until running in is completed)

running in up to about 3500km to 4000km before fully sync oil

spark plug about 3000km or 4months change once. NGK or Denso

battery and brakes change every 2 years

Btw does anyone noe which motorshop got alot accessories for cbf150??

BAD NEWS!! CBF 150 has no standard accessories designed for this model. All needs to be modified.

Ride the bike first, get a feel, Box can get from anywhere. Prices are very competitive these days. GIVI E450 cost about $100 to 120 these days.

Going to the famous Ah Boy at Kelantan lane means you get it at abt $100 plus installation but remember you can end up waiting for hours to get your job done. I would rather pay an extra $10 somewhere else and get it done in the shortest time cos my time is more precious than saving a few $$

any shop to recommend if i want to change my clutch plate immediately(no need wait for stock), or service carburator all this

Do what is necessary, 3 years with oil and plug only, that's a testimony to our bikes. Great achievement.

There's a famous cowboy saying "if ain't broken? Why fix it?"

Finding ready stock a little tough, suggestion, since your staying in Tiong Bahru, like wertdeviruz suggest go down to Unique motors at Toh Guan, look for Alex or Roy, mention my name, Lawrence and things should be fine. Good reasonable prices, avoid the Alexandra Village area, even though its near to your place. Super "slice throat" experts.

why change clutch plate, feel something wrong, what's your mileage like now?

Change your air filter, there should be a family of bugs by now living on the filter.

If you have time call me at 91837105, I work just around the corner from Unique, Will be glad to help you asses what kind of "Love" is needed for your bike. Looks like quite obivious, you have spent very little for 3 years and probably want to keep it that way.

Wow, 3 years with just oil and plug change? That really is a morale booster to people getting a cbf150 like me.. It really proofs that cbf 150 is a LOW maintainence bike..
