Me just met a small accdient 2 days ago.... TPE traffic jam den while squeezing, a JB bike hit me from the side...

 

Sad... Hate the rain and the jam that it cause...

Btw so any lobang for cheap crash bar and also whether i able to make the overall height of the bike lower? Now find that it is abit too high for me and maybe i can be more stable if it is maybe 2-3 inch lower...

bike can be lowered by 2 ways.

 

change the tyres - seen it before but not sure wat is the tyre size, check with bike production or banhon

 

cut the seat - if u plan to rewrap your seat leather, u can ask them to cut the foam of the seat, it helps to lower the bike, how much to cut u can ask them to advice

 

for crash bar.... need to fabricate -i also finding

Just went to cut my seat, in the end spent $45 and altot the shop tried their best, doesnt really feel any lower and my ass hurts abit after riding for long distance....

 

But if i were to go back and add back the cushion, have to don noe spent how much again and in the end get back the original height, might as well don do in the first place? Sucks man...

:dot:Yo. looks that the club is dying with no new influx of members. Maybe we should encourage more new member? Just a suggestion, why don't we make a regular meetup like we did the past 2 outings.

 

Simple Agenda

1. Ride to JB

2. Top Up Fuel

3. Go to Bike Wash Area

4. Book in bike for "grooming" at RM$8

5. Proceed to "customer waitng Area"

6. Order Satay and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course)

7. Sit back, watch and try to find fault with the "grooming Staff

8. Try to negotiate for group discount

9. Head back to singapore ( if nobody, wants to do any shopping at the

"bapok Area"

 

So, what do ya think?

 

Also, we could print some small little flyers and pass it to fellow CBF riders that we see on the road (like a name card)

 

We could get one of us to design one and I can print from my office( we got alot of recycle paper)

 

Probably, through our basic meetups, we could get some "creative ideas"

 

Also, we could share things like our favourite mechanics and then when could go as a group and make that place a " CBF150 Specialist Shop" I think the boss of the chosen shop will be very happy to see similar bikes coming regularly.

 

One good example, would be the phantom knights club, they started small and then some on recommended a shop in lengkok bahru "ah koon" . The next thing you know the shop grew its customer base progressively.

 

Now, among those that ride phantom 150 or 200 generally go to him. Technically, the mechanic has improved his skills and troubleshooting technique for that particular model due to the increased frequency to the shop.

 

This could only be an advantage. We could also "pull out" from the shop if we get bad service.

 

So guys, what do you think, we should try to build our benefits reaped through the group as a whole.
