1. Front 90/90/18 and rear 100/90/18. For rear you can go up to 110/80/18 but the bike will lose its pickup. Get good tyres and stock sizes is good enough.

2. my brake line is Spigelier, abt $80, Most brake lines are abt the same price. Try not to buy the cheap ones from malaysia or Ah Boy.

3. AC is ok, I did the DC conversion. But I think you are better off doing the 5 point grounding and change the headlamp to Osram Halogen is better, the lamp will be very bright and consistent.

yup changed e tyres to Michelin 80/90 front and 90/90 rear...didnt knw that the rear can hold up to 100/90...Will be visiting shop to change the lines...def wont get sub standard kind...

 

May i ask where did u get your Spigelier (not a common brand amg the biking community). Intead to get EBC pad

 

Abt the headlamp, where can I purchase the bulb?

thinks there's problem with my fuel gauge.. Shows E but i pump fuel is only 8-9litres.. Any idea how long is the bike warranty from boon siew?

Thanks for the kindly advise "pikapika" and "Biposto". Guess i will just keep it stock since i'm happy with it's fuel consumption. I'm using the bike for despatch actually.

Maybe i will try Defu Lane and hunt for rim spraying instead..

its true, stock paint is the best, unless you invest in good painter with good 2k paint

dont think there is power cut, max speed is 110km/h no matter how u mod.

increasing the torque will be more useful for singapore road

 

search the forum and u will find a shop in defu that do powder coat but they are not a bike shop and u have to detach and polish and SAND the RIMS before u sent it in. price about 100 a piece.

I would like to know the answer to this question too. Also, how do I remove the stock decals without leaving any residue? Can we fit racing boy rims meant for the RXZ (18") or any other coloured rims available for CBF other than spray-painting the rims? And I want to 'RPM' my meter. Any local shops that do this because I read that you guys did it in JB.

Yesterday saw another cbf...his dashboard, headlamps and rear stop light look so bright and wont flicker with the engine (Pretty sure he did not rev the engine and I saw him clutching in)

 

Mine is like it will get brighter if i rev, else...everything is so dim...(is this norm?)

 

Wanna get the dashboard light replace too...any recommendation?

Mine is like that too. It's probably because we are using AC (alternate current) instead of DC (direct current). I'm not too sure about thiss though.

Stock Bike lights dim is normal until you rev the bike. His idle timing might be set high, normally BS tuning will set the timing high. If you want make me an offer for my already "rpmed" blue back lit dashboard.
