Ya, same here! But from what Lawrence posted before, costs more than $500. I have a 42L Kappa box but I feel that it's too small. I probably need a bigger box. Something like a 52L box or something + side boxes. =P

They'll be meeting at about 2pm. I should be coming down to tune my carb too + look at the RPM meter and most probably buying and installing it immediately. Recently keep having cold start problems. It'll be a CBF gathering of sorts at UM Toh Guan tomorrow. =D

Same. Sometimes want to squeeze 2 raincoats and 2 half-face helmets also hard. But my raincoats is those thick material one ah, to withstand the cold morning winds. And i'm planning to get 2 FF helmets. Where to fit?! =\

haha, i now using a Flip Up and my gf using an open faced... most of e time i can only put my FU in e box with all e rain coat and my slight-water proof jacket and bag... E other helmet can only lock at e side of e seat coz totally cant fit it... haha

 

But now wonder whether givi E450 uses e same baseplate as e stock one, if not have to spent extra $$ to get e plate as well... maybe will go ask unique tmr

I went Unique just now. They helped adjust my carburetor to increase air intake. Cold start problems again. Will see how it goes tomorrow. Anyway, they said that the SB2000 brackets can be modified to fit our bikes. Plus E21 side boxes, total cost is $270. Maybe if more of us do it, can get cheaper?

Need some help on the cbf150. I'm undecided on buying a new one or getting a 2nd hand. Which one should i get?

 

I went to one of the shops and they quoted me $3.5k all in, excluding insurance. FBC plate. However, the mileage is 40000++km.

 

Should I still grab it or should i buy a new one? if new, what's the otr price at the moment?

They didn't charge me anything. Maybe it's because only after changing airfilter, EO, spark plug and service carburetor at Unique Autobay on Monday that this cold start problem got worse. Before this, I just need to open throttle a bit then the engine can stay at idle but there will be some knocking sounds ah.

Guys, indeed this is a very rare if fact i can safely say that it is the only one. Very good design. Like the top rack. I customised my bracket at Seng Kwang for abt the same price but this looks far better.

The Bridgeport valves are good. One advice choose the convenient direction for the valve to point to top up the air.

the total unit cost that much with 3 boxes and the customised brackets. Givi E45 should the biggest box suitable for the CBF, any bigger and the rear of teh bike will look like you are carrying a cabinet. Also, too much weight in the rear. I suggest you invest in the side boxes for the long run. there will be more space to segregate, commonly used items and not so common items.

If you are buying on loan, I suggest you pay a little more and get a new one. But then again, if you plan to upgrade in a years time, then don't waste your $$. Some of our riders already decided to hang on to the bike for a while that's why they invest in a new one. If I am not mistaken, its abt $5k for a new one. Try to go to Bike Production, they are supposed to be one of the cheapest around. If you call shops, sometimes you don't get the actual price as some shops, afraid of competitors knowing their selling price, quote higher on the phone, but if you go personally, the price is lower.

Me might b going oversea to work nxt yr may for 2 yrs. So just dekit 1st then sell the bike!

 

Bike is 07 then milleage now is only 13+++km.

 

Guess selling 3+k should b fine...
