oh yah guys........for our bike safety.......do get a bike cover..........i alreay get mine at auntie shop for 23 bucks.........overnight while not riding our bike need cover from prying eyes.....if u know wat i mean......cheers!!!!

Its up to individual preference, for me I'm too lazy to bring along cover leh haha, btw the hotel will close the carpark gate at night. But its always a good idea to invest in an additional padlock/disklock/chain for use at the other areas we will be parking at (restpoints, waterfall etc).

Date of travel: 1 - 2th Nov (Sat-Sun)

 

Hotel: The Baba House Hotel, Malacca (http://www.thebabahouse.com.my , RM85 per night)

 

Riding info: Cruising speed at 90-100km/h (on road shoulder), 20 mins break at major restpoints Machap and Pagoh (approx 60km interval), expected time from SG to Malacca - 3.5 hrs.

 

Itinerary:

Saturday 1 Nov

6.30 - Meet-up at Boon Lay MRT

7am - Cross customs

11.30 am - Reach Malacca Ayer Keroh exit. Lunch at JUSCO store in Ayer Keroh

2pm - Check in hotel, wash up, short break.

3pm - Heritage Tour - on foot (Sultanate Palace, A Formosa gate, St Paul's Church, The Stadthuys, Christ Church etc) (Bukit Cina area - if time permits, but nothing much one, only the chinese temple and wishing well)

6pm - Shopping at Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Mega Mall.

8pm - back to hotel, short break

9pm - Pasar malam! After that chill out back at hotel.

 

Sunday

7 am - Wake up, prepare to leave

8 am - set off to NS highway

10 am - Stop by Tangkak Gunung Ledang Waterfall (Mt Ophir)

1pm - Continue to JB

2.30 pm - Makan at JB

4 pm - Cross customs at Woodlands (must cross customs by this time if not jam, cos its Sunday)

just reach home about 15 mins .. i went off first after hitting the NS highway at melaka..

 

was raining heavily at machap till somewhere near GP esso.

 

av. speed - 140-150kph..

Don't go Boon Siew lah, very ex. Just get the plug from Ahboy, tell him its for CBF150, just to be sure u can check the plug model from your manual, should cost about $6 for the standard plug. Change plug very easy one, if you have problem can drop by my place in AMK, I'll show you how to change.

 

what does the iridium spark plug do? is it a special spark plug? is it better on our bike?

It is a spark plug made of a better conducting material so you can expect quicker, sharper response from your engine. However it is less durable and thus needs to be replaced on a more regular basis. Also, it does increase your fuel consumption as you will be tempted to rev more than you normally would, due to the increased responsiveness. An overkill for a transport bike I would say.

 

But feel free to try it, you never try you never know.

hmm.. the manual say our sparkplug can last for 8000km, mine is now 5200km.. think can change to the iridium type.. i try see how

8000km? I think supposed to check every 4000km leh, according to the manual

just went boon siew service today, told me the spark plug change after 10000km. and iridium type dont know can fit on our bike anot. need to test
