Got mine last month, when i passed my test.

From my very limited experience, a good stable trouble-free economical bike.

Only complain is the lack of tachometer (other countries' version seems to have it, y can't we?) and the weight of the bike (dropped mine on the 2nd day :(, y is it so heavy?)

Mechanical problems that i have encountered includes stuck gear from 3rd to 2nd & 1st (resolved @ first service), and cold start problem (have to use choke almost every morning, will resolve in 2nd service)

Considered the cbf150 ("styling that grows on u", trouble-free) pulsar (good styling, but seems to have small glitches here n there) and fz150i (nice water-cooled FI engine, but seems dainty)

OTR 5.7k (based on 1.5k COE :( and P-Plate insurance)

Hi guys!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Don't get me wrong, i am very happy with my cbf150, juz some minor issues which can be resolve that i hope i can share and help fellow forumers.

Hi pikapika,

I think my new rider insurance costs a fair bit and the spike in COE price to 1.5k (before coming down to just less than 1.1k on juz the next bid :( )

Hi wertdeviruz,

Thanks for the invitation, will call u some day soon. Hope to learn more from you.

Hi HondaLoyal,

Will update u on the cold start after my second service. I am very new in the area of bike maintainence. I rem the school instructors telling me nt to use the choke unless realli cannt start which i have no idea why.

When will u guys do a meet-up?

Regards,

Kenneth
