Is DURO tyre good? Is it the stock tyre for CBF150?

I tried on a daystar b4, bike mainstand full clutch it, down gear, the wheel dun turn. When half clutch then the wheel start to move.

The thoery is that when clutch in the gear is not match to the clutch thus it will not cause the wheel to turn when wheel totally stationary. Am i get the wrong theory?

Hi about our stock tyres, I noticed the tyres are less grippier for the first 300km. There're more than one occasion when I ride over a thick painted directional sign, my rear went sideways. I wasn't cornering and still at road legal speed limit. Now I've clocked about 750 km, it felt far more grippier. This new found confidence allows me to install a 45L box.

Since this is my first ride, I don't know how much grip there is to compare with. I'm going to replace the stock tyres with Michelin Pilot Sporty when the new shipment arrives at my agent's workshop, next week I hope.

Bought GIVI Simply E450 w/light @ 130 Singapore dollars & IU bracket @ 12 Singapore dollars liao. Tomoro going Changi Vicom get a new IU est. cost 160 Singapore dollars .

So far I've notice our bikes on road are not using GIVI box. My carpark already got 4 CBF including mi.

My Bike now cost 4815 + 130 + 12 + 160 = 5117 Singapore dollars.

Mine no brake light also. I'm a little worry that someone will not see my brakelight during the day, now partially blocked by the box.

dont think will be block, actually it should bring out the light contrast cos the box act as a shade to it. unless you are tailgate by some really high vehicle lor.

ride safe

Not a ducati fan, you're saying probably because of my name, right?

Yes, its one of the models that brought Ducati back to life again in the 90's, I'm more of a Honda and BMW rider only trust these 2 machines for reliabilty, rode a ducati 916 through the jam in JB once and got my inner tights "cooked", due to the placement of the exhaust. Hate that bike. Only good for track use. On normal singapore roads, its a nightmare.

Also about the shop, for those riding CBF may have to go to great lengths to get replacements like tires cos not many shops in SG stock up on 18" tires.

anyone interested to buy my side boxes?

Selling only the boxes, might be upgrading to a pair of Hepcos. Looking to sell abt $120 for non CBF riders, for CBF riders can discuss over a can of ice lemon tea.

Hi there, Two-Seater. It's good to know we've an experience rider in our little cbf 150 thread. I'll give them 3 more weeks, if shipment not here by then, I'll either take my biz elsewhere or stick with the stock tyres.

I like the black sides covers (the one that will expose the batt on the left, if removed). This should enhance the look a little.

Hi do you think Honda has purposely equipped our exhaust with a tiny outlet so that our rides remain tame and restricted.

The other day I parked besides an underbone, I think it's 125cc, it got a bigger exhaust outlet. In fact, on casual checks, our rides exhaust outlet is one of the smallest around.

Finally my new bike is ready, truely on OTR liao. Box and IU fixed. Now need to change to the stock tyre after run-in.

I've already book my first servicing at Boon Siew on Next Sat. will highlight them the clutch problem, when i released fully, my bike tend to hv double jerk action when moving off.

Runningnosejoe, how much u bought ur new ride?
