hahaha... thanks for the compliments for my FC. its true that i stick to the speed limits of the expressways 90kmh-100kmh, sme times slpy den go 110kmh. street roads i'll go 50-75kmh. everyday at that point of time, from marsiling (with my fiancee) to sungei kadut to neythal rd, round trip will be close to 40km. regarding FC, i tink virus will haf all the answer cos i tink tat he'll travel close to 100km/ day due to his job requirement.

tips:

tyre pressure is higher than the recommended, but depending on wat kind of tyres and your safety will be at concern. filling up will try to squeeze in as much as possible. while riding try to anticipate 5-10 cars in front of you. gradually pick up to required speed. try not to upsize ur tyres. X-ring chain, revtec and nanoballs installed. maintain good riding habits. try to go on diet or get rid of extra bike weight. maintain ur bike well.

to be honest, i'm a 'hollan' king. hehe...

For the refueling part, I top until the filler neck as shown on pg 23 of our owner's manual. Are you filling more than that?

You must let your bike to be stationary for 2 hours for tyre to cool down. Cause tyre pressure will be high(expand due to heat) once u hv ride a distance. Thus u won't get accurate reading of your tyre pressure.

For example: u ride to petrol station pump 30 psi, when u park your bike 2 hrs later. You then check the pressure with pressure gauge should be > 29psi only.

bro, try to write in to appeal

telling them about the accuracy of the speedo

may give u chance sometimes.

The appeal process takes too long (may takes 8 weeks to get an answer). I may need to fly for convention in that time frame. I decided to pay the fine.

At last I can't wait no more. The lines on my front stock Duro was very prominent but my agent's Michelin Pilot Sporty shipment has been delayed again. So I went to another bike shop and have them replaced with Pirelli City Demon. On first impression, the Pirelli felt skinny when ride upright (w/o banking), which I can get use to. Maybe because of this profile, the bike is faster and more torquey. But most interesting thing is, when I do corners, wow! the lean angles are sweet.

PM you liao. If budget allows, go for the Dunlop TT sumting, but, the rising of the Yen didn't help here, it's S$85 more than the Pirelli City Demon which are from the land of Pele. So far only one thing i don't like about my City Demon is it got too many 'Rambutan hair' sticking out. Even more than the stock Duro. I don't know if this reduces traction or not.

They told me they're also waiting for the new shipment of Michelin Pilot Sporty from Spain too.

Land of Pele, now tha's a name that I have not heard for a very long time. The rambutan hair will fall off "eventually" take more deeper corners.

Saw your PM, that a very good price. I was there last week and thought of doing the hazard lights. Went there at about 9 am in the morning, waited till 10+ but the shop didn't open. Got pissed and left.

At one kopitiam near my place, there's a small group of close-knit, heavily-built guys that meet up often. They usually gather 3 to 5 strong. I can see they enjoyed each other company very much. They all drink (or maybe not), smoke and chat for many hours. Somehow they knew I ride as well. Maybe they noticed my salivating self, oggling at their rides may times.

Class 2 is long way to go for me. But right now, I'm glad that I love my CBF 150. :lovestruck: Never came into my mind that I'll like this bike, but I do now and I'm looking forward to my weekend rides everyday.

Igues its a little tough to get our guys to meet up. Since we are all far apart. But I believe if we try we could.

Hey guys if you all are really bothered by the vibration occuring at 70km/h, trying using Motul 300V 15/50. My bike vibration disappeared. Today I just changed EO to motul 300v 10/40 and the vibration came back. It had to be the EO. Hope this helps.

Good for you a trusting person, but you need this info for your future maintenance of optimum tyre pressure, I think.
