WakDin and CardTac09 welcome to our forum. As I'm a newbie to CBF150, I hope we can share info. In fact I passed my 2B just 2 months ago. If you've not done so already, pls click this thread page 10 onwards, you should be able to find advices and recommendation from other CBF150 riders. What I'm really curious about are:

  1. Recently passed 2B?
  2. If just passed 2B, are you planning to get 2A bike (after you get class 2A license) or stick to your CBF150 then upgrade all the way to class 2 bike (after you get class 2 license)?

Old man many questions:smile:

I hope you've recovered completely from your mishap. I'm wondering what's the difference in riding a Phamtom 200 with CBF150? Things like, can you do pylon slalom on a Phamtom 200 with ease as compare to the commuter bikes like CBF150 or riding school bikes such as CG125 and YBR125?

Posted

phantom 200 has longer wheelbase hence turning radius is wide but it lower centre of gravity (low seat) excel on long straight road (very stable) . of course pylon slalom n fig 8 can be done with ease BUT SLOWLY.

When I purchased the bike, it's bundled with helmet, raincoat and top box. I traded in the org top box with a slightly bigger Givi with free installation. I'll PM you the motor-tiam name later. Wah Wakdin still got 6 days to go.

hi guys sorry for MIA quite a while.....as some know my ride killerbee been storming thru highways....lol

Some of u wasnt aware....for those hangout wif me u know who...my CBF juz clocked in 85K juz now.....nothing much done.....farthest venue ever accomplished....Phuket Thailand. 1 hell of an experience....

My bike had my happy n sad moments but i never regret owning it.

My bike running on Duro racing 80/90 n rear Bridgestone BT45 100/90 - bought over from Biposto...thanks....tyre peerformance....splendid!!

Installed Auto gauge's voltmeter, so easy to monitor my batt life....coz had bad experience wif cold start riding my bike 4 da first 6 mths.

EO using BeLray's GOLD....JuZ costs me $20....vibration at 70km/h dissapears instantly...

Ive added 2 bags of Nanoballs to my tank to minimise my FC totallly. It really works.

Sprockets size reduced to 40 to maintain my inclining speed @ 100km/h n normal D.I.D chain for longer rides....been lubing my chain wif BeLray lube spray....

Replaced my spark plugs every 2 mths.....so far wiring no problem......only now my speedometer right side n my gear 5 bulb lights malfunction....

About stationary....trying to find my neutral gear is a prob too...especially when my fuel coming to reserve. After topped full tank....it reduces abit.....

so far my points untouched by TP...thank god.....

Welcome some couple new CBF riders....welcome to the family....hope to meet up wif u guys in future....who knows in public...we might ride side by side but sadly... not knowing who u are...

any queries.....fellow CBF forumers welcome to share pointers. Cheerios!!!

UM at enous moving sale till 19th june 2009, i asked about the belray oil and its 18 cash and carry. interested bro can go get.

for the chain lube i highly recommend the penray, no fling and keeps your wheel and all clean. 8.50 per bottle at bukit merah only.

autogauge voltmeter now promo at um enous also at 40 only (think need to add 10 or 15 for the bracket) and digital one i think cost 45 with install. the above is just lobang offers that i found in the fourm, i not promoting for Um. :)

I installed crashbars for $280 from "I forgot what the hell the name of the shop that does metalworks" .. nearly wanted to sell off my crashbar at $200 cause I needed the cash at that time, but something happened that led me to not want to sell it at the moment.

1. Pretty girls from my school rmb my bike becos of the crashbar "the one with the metal thing"

2. I saved $150++ in damages when my bike fell sideways, my bike did not suffer a single scratch, I thought my exhause protector buang already but my crashbar took all the damage, which is just some minor scratches on the edge

If you scroll back several pages behind, you can see a pic of my CBF 150
