Just got my 2b. Wld like to join in yr meetup to checkout the cbf150. Was riding the honda megapro from bbdc, is it the same category bike? Very noob to bikes..

 

welcome and pls don't compare our CBF with some training school bike. Its in a class of its own.

 

They even have races in Shanghai for our bikes. Please join us this friday, not sure how you are going to without a bike.

ok Bro.....i got a fren whom can do n design stickers for us.....we juz need to purchase the raw material......colors i stick to the same reflective BLUE...RED....YELLOW and maybe WHITE.....the design is still in construction.....lol.....will post it up....patience bros......heheheh

too bad bros cant join you all yet for the bike washing session...my bike still park-a-side at my carpark...me working 12 hours everyday don wanna take off day yet coz gonna save up for my baby soon gonna out in early jan...maybe after that be joining the session...anyway do keep me inform of the stickers too...any payment needed just sms me bro!...Anyway ride save f**k hard!

What I meant was, the riding posture is the "sit straight" kind right? Don't see anyone selling it in the bike for sale section. This is a relatively new bike?

was just kidding. Posture is almost upright but yours legs will be slightly back, not at a 90 degrees angle.

 

But is not new, been in SG for almost 3 years now, few people selling?? no idea, but me not selling cos it has all i need in a bike.

4. most of all, its TP friendly as the bike's top speed is about 100 to 110 km/h

 

Generally, the bike is comfortable to ride and trouble free with regular doses of TLC.

My past 7 months of riding, I got into 3 roadblocks but they just let me go seeing I'm a P-plate and seeing the bike I'm riding. And about the max speed, I actually went almost 130km/h in malaysia, haven't full throttle yet.

Maybe there ain't owners letting go now,

but i'm sure bike shops have tons of them in 2nd hand trim...

just need to pay attention to the condition...or you will get rip off.

4k or less will get you a decent one i think.

new ones cost 5k.

 

I agree that the gd ones are never for sale....or rather rarely !!

i know for a fact that we have lots of ungracious ppl ard and

would whack the bike or hack care the maintenance

once they decide to sell the bike !!

forum sellers are no different.

would always claim their bike is tip top .... yada yada yada

and that they have to sell coz no choice !!

upgrade cc, buy car, someone ill at home, parents KP.....etc

heard it all.....BS !!

then these ppl would sell at prices on par with shops.

Best part, shops offer some form of warranty, they don't !!

 

Can only buy pre owned bikes from immediate trusted ppl...

Have you guys ever full throttle? I was testing in malaysia that time. It reached close to 130km/h (should be close to full throttle). On full throttle may reach 130km/h I guess. Never tried cos i m a newbie. Bike with box. Rider 65kg. SINGAPORE's shell v-power at less than 1/2 tank (that time got the 98 price promotion) and motul EO. No mods, no enhancer.

 

The same bike can only go just above 100km/h with pillion another 65kg, and caltex 95 on full throttle.

130, a myth lar.... haha no offence. i believe all of us tried full throttle before in SG, late nites in SLE is a good place. with my weight and box and stuff, the fastest i clocked is about 113 to 115, beyond that is impossible for the bike. bike can easily go 90 to 100 no problem. your is a power bike lor

Haha! I think the weight, petrol type and good EO makes a difference. Esp shell V power, a slight throttle can make the bike moves a lot faster compare to normal petrol. Should try it some time, but a bit ex. I think your bike can go from 115km/h to over 120km/h.

what you say is true, me used to top up in Malaysia, when i top up in SG, even the 98 is more powerful and smoother. Occasionally, top up v power in SG, there is a diff but I feel the fuel burns off faster.
