Hi Frnds,

Whats the current fuel consumption by your bikes? o_O

Currently my 2010 R6 on a BMC filter gives me 190/195 km (per full tank - calculated from reserve to reserve).

BMC Race filter? Usually with some addons should be able to get at least 230km. Best i had stock was 260km. But you end up pissing the bike off riding it so conservatively.

Start with the simple basics -

1) Regular servicing (EO change, oil filter, spark plugs)

2) Clean airfilter

3) Pump your tires to the correct pressure

4) Don't hold too high revs for prolonged periods

5) Lose weight. Seriously, it helps.

I calculate by pumping to the max until max then travel till i pump again and pump till the max.

Good and bad is just the difference between perceptions.

My consumption has been inconsistent though, perhaps due to my punctured rear tyre which I repaired.

239 km before reserve light comes out and another 40 km to travel before I push my bike :-|

Where do you guys keep your exhaust certificate?? Original or photocopy?

Me also same2, FC 190 den reserve light on. Check all fuel lines no probs, reset ecu also same. My ride only gt:

1) BMC race air filter

2) Arrow endcan w/o silencer

3) Front tyre - 245, rear tyre - 270

Seems funny though tat most riders out there gt full aftermarkets yet can get FC more den 220-240 even w/o PC3/5 or bazzaz

Hmm.....???????

Stock ride = 250km before lights on.

Arrow F/S = 210km before lights on.

Arrow F/S + PC3 = 190km before lights on.

Obviously PC3 does play a part in the fuel drinking rate haha.
