Bros, after installing a slipon, should i:

 

1)Leave the exup cables alone & hide them somewhere?

2)Remove the exup cables but leave the servo motor?

3)Remove the exup cables & the servo motor & get the plug?

Bro, let me tell you how this story begin,

 

I went to change my engine oil, when I drain up my engine oil, there are 4 lts, perhaps the previous owner doesn't know or purposely top so much engine to cover the engine noise. but when I top up, I only top up 3 lts. with my new engine oil, I rode around 5km everything was fine. it was then I realize that my gallery bolt has oil leakage. I tried tighten it, and it broke. Now should I drain my oil to maintain at 2.4lts. pls advice

 

Hmm im not sure, maybe u lost a fair bit of engine oil when the bolt came loose? better check your engine oil level bro..

 

& frm what i know, its to test your oil pressure..

Hmm, if i were u, i would replace the bolt asap if u have not, cuz the oil would cntinue to seep out.

 

For the oil volume, usually fill up 2.5 bottles to 3 is enough i think. Thats about 2.5lts to 3lts.

 

But best to ask your mech bro, im nt tat pro either hahah

You should top up according to specs. Use t dip stick to check if u over top up . If u did over top up, t engine does not lubricate t engine enough.

To use dip stick, straighten t bike, clean t dip stick and put t dip stick inside. Do not screw it in.

For me, i use t dip stick as t measurement.

Maybe you should stop riding till the bolt replacement comes. [ My 2 cents worth of advice ] Using the dipstick to know the level is one thing but as safety is concerned. Whatever debris caught during your ride might further harm your bike.

2nd hand 2011 r6 from new southern. I think there's something wrong with my bike. I'm not so sure

 

Have you rode the bike already? Did you ask the shop about warranty? Make sure they tell you how long is the covered period. Of cos when you go back with problems they will say you are new at this 'blah blah blah' but just tell them what you feel is not right and have maybe another shop to provide the accurate details so you can tell southern

Bros,any idea what could code 12 for r6s 2007 means?I googled it and it was crankshaft position error

 

Happens one fine nite while riding to Dempsey Road-->Engine hits 100degrees celsius.Cool it down,and when restarting the engine intermittent start/stop.Now unable to start.Crank sound but the spark plugs just dont fire.Spark plugs,eo and oil filter just changed a month back.Coolant is intact.

 

Google explain that it could be due to battery also since I last changed 1.5 years ago.Some sources say it could be the starter coil relay under the rider seat koyak.Any bros experienced such prob or any suggestions?

Yeah bro,Got light when I slot in the key switch and switch it to on.Sometimes can start sometimes cannot start..Got one time start,halfway through engine die prompting error 12 on the meter.But battery voltage seems ok leh 12.2V.Maybe the ampere not enough I suppose. :p

 

If you can come over and have a look that will be good bro.Coffee on me bro.Time at your convenience.I don want kanna chop carrot by shops.Haha.Cheers

Anw guys, I have this problem of bike dying for the first start after I start when I moving off from Point B when the engine is already warmed up ( Eg, Point A to B, B to C). And whenever I off my throttle slowing down for traffic light, the rpm will be very weak, somewhere slightly below 1k and slowly move back to the normal idling speed of 1.3k . This happens when I start my bike when it is warm. On top of all this, if I start my bike and rev it in neutral gear, I will die off. All the incident happens only when the bike is warmed. Please advice!

full sys is no longer transferable.

lots of possibilty for ur prob. injectors,throttle body,fuel pump...... go into dianostic n check ur tps position or bring to shop n share wit us the findings

Change u starter carbon will do, cost abt 140.

omg bro i have EXACTLY the same problem as you do! after riding to my friend's place, i parked my bike there for 15mins. when i returned to my bike and tried to start the bike, there is this clicking sound that comes from under the seat that goes 'TAK' each time i press the electric start! and my dash board shows the code 12 too. tried for many times then finally the bike could start. happened to me twice but now it seems fine. worrying though. definitely not my batt cos its only a month old.

hey bro! i went to republic motors cos i had the same problem, the mechanic told me that my starter is spoilt, but he quoted me $500! is the starter he said and the starter carbon you referring to the same thing? really shocked at the price difference. after that i went Plant Motors and the boss told me only my relay is spoilt which is $80. so i dont know which component is really the spoilt one.
