I am looking to buy a brand new R6, can I check with you guys roughly how much is the market price and is the latest model 2013? Don wanna kena chop by shop . Thanks in advance.

 

If brand new, best to go down to t shop and see what they offer. rumours going on t next gen bikes will b 3 cylinders.

bros;my r6s having this prob..r6s 2007 keep displaying 0km/hr...any tips whats e cause..could it be the hall speed sensor or the sensor cable?i need nod touch those cable all this while...cheers

1)Bros,for those facing speedometer stuck at 0km/hr .I faced the same problem and after numerous google at ang mo websites and youtube-->went down to Auto Machineries at Rowell Road to buy the speedometer sensor for R6s 2007 @ $85 and fixing it-->voila problem is gone.Other shops are charging about $150 for sensor and workmanship.

 

2)Do note that different R6(Years especially) might use different speed sensor model(Correct me if I am wrong).Hence when buying please specify your R6/R6s and year.

4)You will need to roll up the fuel tank(I use those flexible strap to hool to reak seat),open up the airbox and voila you will have access.But its quite hidden underneath the rat nest.If you use torchlight you mite be able to see it.The speed sensor lead(https://plus.google.com/photos/106300458606827846177/albums/5904876520460471121?banner=pwa&authkey=CMHejd3WvIiu4gE)

 

3)Auto machineries has a branch at Ubi--> 50 Ubi Ave 3 #01-13 Frontier Builiding Tel:6749 8051

 

4)I am living inl tampines btw..My hp-->9189 4548.If you need any help with installing I can assist for sure.

 

Whole procedure is about 2 hours as it is abit messy to roll up the fuel tank and opening up the Air Box and tracing the speed sensor lead under the rat nest.
