Just went to my shop.

Checked the batt & rectifier connections & all look fine, no burnt marks or anything.

Mech revved it up and theres no change in the batt voltage.

It remained at ard 12v.

 

Means its not charging right?

 

From what i read on other R6 forums, this means the stator/alternator/magnetic coil gone bad.

If the rectifier is at fault, the voltage should instead be above 15v?

 

Correct me if im wrong. Scratching my head also hahah

not sure if faulty rectifier will give above 15v but since theres onli 2 possibility left, its a ez fix. if ur coil is ok, jus change e rectifer. if ur coil is damage then change both. prolong riding will damage ur batt too.

tt one is for a S model which is e same as 04-05 r6 locally. i'll get EBC or OEM clutch set. hv hear tt Barnett fail b4.

seems like ur clutching is slipping.
