I went for the recall already.Its changing the air filter with the screw.The new air filter comes with the screw that lock inside the filter preventing the screw from dropping out.Those using aftermarket filter i think thats no difference meaning the screw will still drop out so becareful guys

hhmm... then i guess that adds up to a total of 3 06R6 owners liaos.... the other one is not me. But his was broken like prob within a mth or 2 from ownership back last year.

 

Think he posted a pic in this thread too... dunno which page.. too many laios...:smile:

may i know how long did it take? jours? Days? Are they willing to pass us the items so owner can DIY?

 

PS:and man.. i love the 07R6 in red in ur signature!! Should have waited a year for this!@

regardin the 2 black plastic panels at the side of the tank.. i've read n heard of it breakin b4.. so when i ride i wil avoid puttin pressure on it.. but actually i noticed i realli cant cos my knees r touchin the frame of the bike b4 my thighs can..

I using aftermarket filter,so i jus went there 1 to 1 exchange my stock filter with their new filter.Then they will punch a dot at ur chasis num.Think u all gonna ask HL but i dont think they lets us DIY cos they need to take back the fault filter

i change mine yesterday too. dun have to make appointment, juz brought my old filter 1-to-1 exchange. thus can D-I-Y

but they didn't punch any dot on chasis

Hi to all bros here me quite new here but dun u all have any tt met up so can share ur rides poison 2gether coz me juz taken up riding again after 6yrs of hanging my riding gears coz now i'm a lonely r6 rider...:cry:
