4. sleeping/walk-ard attire/footwear

5. personal bike tool for minor repairs (allen key, 10~12 spanner etc)

Ok guys, here's what i was quoted for R6. So please don't faint! :cheeky:

 

Option 1. Front & Rear Rim (with sprocket) S$2,400/=

 

Option 2. Front & Rear Rim (with sprocket,front Galfer Wave Disc,Rear Carrier) S$3,400/=

 

Rims are made of aluminium but are Forged (to strengthen) & Anodised!

This is just similar to the ones that ideal brings in for Braking. However at 2.5k, u get front and rear rims, rear sprock, and Braking integrated discs.... so i think the Ideal ones are a better buy definitely....

 

At least there is a dealer or importer here...

Braking was my first option too.

Unfortunately they don't have it in Gold Anodise!

p.s a question to all , does the clutch plate affect the speed of the bike?

coz i cant seem to go above 250 after my trip back from cameron ,

or is it the engine oil??

250. Sure thats max out speed. well could be wear and tear. I get 270 ++ out of my R6 06. After 270 I never notice the meter. so i dont know. heheheh

unless u've been abusin ur clutch it probably isnt ur clutch plate.. ur bike is onli 2 yrs old so under normal usage ur clutch shld stil be ok..

 

solution: full sys exhaust + custom mapping + race air filter :D

Clutch plate affects the torque transfer from your crankshaft to your wheels. If your clutch plates are very worn, it will obvious when you throttle fast. Sign are the rpm climbs yet the bike speed remains or picks up slowly. Basically, this shows signs or worn clutch friction plates as they cannot withhold the large amount of sudden torque.

 

What other symptons did you notice when the bike is at 250kmh and not climbing? The 06R6 should hit easily 270kmh.

without it, you cannot hold top speed for long haha :smile:
