Can confirm this?

Thanks dude!!!

Sporting does not do Scotts. Race Incorp does Scotts but u get a better deal if u buy direct thru a group buy. Scotts is actually a licensed manufacturer of the Ohlins designed rotary damper. I also asked Sporting about it long time ago, but Joe never made the effort to close the deal. As far as I know, Scotts and Ohlins are not coming from same source.

After hearing the ridiculous servicing pricing for Ohlins linear damper, so steep that you might as well buy a new piston, I think it not the best choice. The Scotts is easily servicable by end user, oil change and bleeding does not require unit disassembly other than 2 bleed screws. Scotts also do a full service for a small fee. Other units where the local agents are techincally inclined like Bitubo, Hyperpro and Sprint are better choices too, dampers develop air bubbles and require regular servicing to do their intended job well.

$350 :goodluck: This is to replace the seals and a chunk of it ($100++) is for the freight cost of sending it back due to need of 'specialised tools'.
