hie all, i'm very new here.. i wanna upgrade to a class 2 bike from super4 n am looking for 600cc... i wanted cbr 600 the model with the pipe below the seat.. but suddenly i change my mind to r6.. can i know currently around how much it cost 1st hand n 2nd hand?

 

n what r the good n bad abt r6...

 

ur feedbacks really help me in deciding on 1 of my childhood dream...

Aug 2007-Oct 2008 -> Honda NSR SP 150

Oct 2008-Mar 2010 -> Yamaha X1R 135

Mar 2010-June 2011 -> Honda CB 400 Super 4 (Version S)

June 2011 Onwards -> Suzuki GSXR 600 K9

1st it really depends. ard 21-23k.

 

2nd hand depends on wch yr n model it is. But normally, i wldnt recommend to get 2nd hand bike unless u knw the person personally..

 

If u suay suay get a chui 2nd hand. GG.

hmm... actually to be honest the 600cc are all about about the same.. just tat which kinda looks u prefer... short exhaust or under seat exhaust... R6 low end abit weaker den a cbr 600... u need to rev up to high end den u can reli feel the kick coming in.. maintainence wise is all abt the same... so see which bike catches ur eye... we are meeting up with the cbr 600 ppl to go kulai this sat.. we also have a super 4 coming.. u can come along and see which bike u prefer.. we ahve alot of different mods on all the bikes and different pipe.. can see wat u like.. like going bike shopping.. haha

hey my second hand bike very good ok!!

o ya one more thing.. the new R6 2010 is abit.. hmmm i dunnoe how to put it la.. on the very quiet side and abit lower BHP.. i would get a second hand r6 or a new cbr 600 instead.. haha.. Btw no offence to owners riding the current new R6.. it's just IMO..

know any place tt i can take a look at r6 fairings?

 

don't tell me google pls. haha.

 

go ebay type r6 abs fairing.. alot of designs..

U mean race fairing or stock wan?

any place sell aftermarket parts like mirror footpegs for r6? any shops you guys know of?

for u better take lol.. anyway i think its a good to have though.. $99 a year consider we go overseas quite a few times .

1) u can DIY urself.. quite easy actually..

 

2) u can go to any bikeshop, preferably 1 dat u regular at, ask ur mechanic do for u.. im pretty sure alot of pple have got theirs done, free even!

mine my mechanic do for me.. its juz bending a piece of metal n drilling a hole..

 

if u first time go to a certain shop, they sure ask u to pay for anything u wanna do.. so its best u go to ur regular shop, or ask ur fren bring u to his regular shop, will at least be cheaper den sk..

 

my iu is fixed on my handlebar like most others.. some chose to put in pillion seat coz they find it ugly infront.. but take note dat u put pillion seat, may not be able to detect..

can work for track???? i tot when u go track doesn't cover... if it covers for track use i dun mind getting it...

Depends on how u justify ma lol.. can say u buang on the way to track, afterall outside the place so sandy and just say the person cause u to skid run lor.. its malaysia after all lol
