anyway just to ask, any bros here got exhaust slider to recommend? i don't want those silicon wrap around one. looks fugly imo. also, is it necessary to get a pc5 if im running on a midpipe + slipon setup? will it still work fine without it for the time being? cause i read on the angmoh r6 forums that for decat only also need to retune with a pc. really want to get the pc5 from joel now but budget damn tight after that. how sia haha!!

i once talk to one R6 08 rider using full system LeoVince, he just retune with gauge at bikeshop...he bike seem run fine, the only thing he dont get is power gain lean curve as u will get from retune with PC5.

Hey guys how much diff. Could their be performance wise between mjs headers,akrapovic slip-on,etc and a full akrapovic race system?

 

No point getting a mjs header. It's a stock header they mod to a straight thru header. Is just like changing a midpipe. Its header got a smaller diameter compared to a akra. It's just a cheaper alternatives .

joel/slize, do u know hw to use the auto tune? im kinda confused.

 

1st:after i ride da bike then i off da engine(without switchin off the ignition)

2nd:connect da pc5 to da laptop(usb)

3rd:click on da auto tune icon in da software & accept trims

4th:save da map

5th:send da map(do i hv to click on da "send table" ?) too?

 

am i doin it right? wats da meaning of da "get map" "get table" icons? thanks.

Normally after i'm done riding i connect the laptop.

*Get Map

*Accept Trims

*Save Map

*Send Map

Hope these helps.

Note that if ur pc5 and AT is running quite ok after a few trims session u reduce the % of the trims from 20% to slightly lower. I'm using 10% now. If not sometimes u will feel after riding awhile esp stop and go traffic the bike is running like Fu*K. it's cos the AT is altering the base map too much alr.

i emailed dynojet too & they told me the same thing.when u r satisfied with ur maps, advisable to remove the AT(the O2 sensor not the whole unit) and switch off the AT unit(unplug the wire).im makin maps for the track and street now.quite leceh also.

It's not that it can be used for 100 hrs only. It's that bosch warrenty the sensor for 50 hrs only. after 50 hrs it's not under warrenty overseas. maybe it's 100 hrs in SG. Doesn't mean 100 hrs den the sensor will spoil. Anyway once u get the ampping u are happy with you can remove the AT.. no pt using it alr. Anyway the stock sensor also can last no reason the At sensor cannot last as it is from the same makers bosch.

 

btw if u making for street map try abt 13.5-13.7 AFR. If for track try abt 13-13.2 AFR

Without silencer a bit hard to pass la. For visual tings depend on the inspector lo whether he will pass u anot lo. Tat time I went wif my super 4 no signal light n mud guard oso passed.
