HI to all, my 2nd hand FBE R6 just leak out some coolant after i park my bike. May i knw wat is the problem with it?

Engine 2 hot... temp before i off it is 99 degree

Pls check Ur radiator cap n Ur hose for leakage.

Guys, are we or TP able to know from looking at or listening to the exhaust whether the silencer is removed or the term here "decat"? Or only when we go inspection use that decibel testing machine then they know?

 

After i changed spark plugs, do coolant flush and install new battery, i find my akra pipes kinda more growly but irritating maybe to others around me.

 

Of course i love the sound but i scared tio summon unnecessarily.

Btw R6 2006-2008. 2008 has alot of changes, besides the pilot light, head fairing, tail fairing, side fairing, and internal changes. It comes with YCCI and engine internals has been changed to give u a slightly better Stock BHP compared to 2006. Low end and mid range has also been improved and it's not so lag as the 2006. As The R6 is known to be a bit weak on the low Revs.

sure bro no problems. Here some pictures of the carbon fiber seat cowl for R6 08 onwards. See the fitting of the cowl. Unlike some other seat cowls you get from online.

This cowl is without Cushion for those who dun like the cushion.

hi bro. I use motul 300V. 1 bottle is $33. R6 requires 3 bottles. Oil filter KNN. Try not to go for the OEM ones as there are many fake ones out there. Beware of the $10 bucks OEM oil filter. KNN oil filter is abt 20-25. Denso Iridium plugs are abt 18 each u need 4. So add them all up together to get a total cost. O ya washing of air filter is abt 10 bucks.

 

For me persoanlly i service every 4000km. on ALT 4000km service den i'll change the spark plugs.

saw a lot R6 at HLC, all of them hv nice exhaust.....mine is original only...so envy....the sound ..so nice sia~~

I think its pretty standard parts to change (engine oil, oil filter, plugs and maybe air filters) for general servicing. But in time to come you'll eventualy have to change your battery and rectifier. Anyway you still need to do a valve clearance depending on the mileage of the bike.

Decat is 100% illegal. Like having fs without the E approval are oso illegal. Sometimes it's up to the tp knowledge to know whether Ur header had been decat. Sound wise of cos there are a huge diff. But with the silencer in might help. We have fellow R6 rider gng for inspection with decat header but still passed.

Thanks for the reply wenxiong. I know its illegal thats why if im able to know, decat or silencer gone or what, i'd like to rectify that. Looks like may be touch and go and depends on luck if the decat exhaust also can pass the sound test.
