Hello all, need to ask your opinion on something. I have been having carb problems for the longest time. Currently my carb is leaking even after a change of gasket so it's quite annoying having to 'give' away petrol like that.

1. Should i buy a brand new carb from United at $90? but the problem is i dunno where the carb is made from and i dont want to spend money on something that will spoil sooner or later. It's mikuni but dunno made from where. Does it matter?

2. Or should i just get a second hand Mikuni Made in Japan one? (i hope Jeff still has one?haha)

3. Anyone knows about RD125 carbs? Is it good FC wise and performance?

yoz, i also having same problem..after changing gasket still leak..

the problem solved....by adjusting the float and replacing my main jet..seriously i not sure how main jet will affect the leak..but definitely adjust the float helps..

i went to few bike shop, all ask me to replace my carb....onli one shop willing to give it a try and help me to adjust the float...

well, anyway my carb is too old too..need to replace sooner or later..united also quote me $90 for the carb which they mentioned is 'original'......
