i saw a very very well maintained RXk at tiong bahru multi storey carpark just now...

 

all stock parts except rxz front, and a custom made bracket for the IU unit ! very well maintained..

all right guys, tentatively i have already send the haynes manual for photocopying, right now i actually printed 7 copies, as for price wise, they will only inform me after counting the numbers of pages in the manual.. so 7 copies shld be rching u all real soon.. so sorry for the delay...

bro out there. i need help ah. currently i am sharing vespa with my brother. i like classic bike very much before that i was riding tw. but didnt really like it so sold it away . now i just got an offer a lao K selling for 200 bucks. feel like getting it but the exterior out of 10 i only give 3 points la. engine wise i really dunno how to see. i try reving it. it sounds ok. but my fren say cannot make it. hahaha. so i really dunno wat to do..

 

so guy, anyone can help me. anyway i am planning to mod it to cafe racer look. so exterior doesnt really matter

wow i think $200 is a steal. if you have friends or whoever staying on landed property, hang up the plate and slowly do up your bike.. when ready den go buy road tax and insurance..

Hi all RX enthusiasts, I'm selling off my RX-S (FC plate) due to upgrading to Class 2A.

Regrets that pictures will be up ASAP.

COE till 2013, engine condition is problem-free, electrical mechanism is all working well.

Things that I have done when I took over the bike 2 years ago (bought it from a bike-shop)

- change new suspensions

- change both new tyres

- change new piston

- change new brake pads

- change new kickstart stand

- change new battery

- change the speedometer to the round classic type

- change front signal lights and front headlight to the round classic type

- change handlebar to the almost straight classic type

 

This bike will be worth it if you are intending to get the classic cafe-racer look as some of the parts have been already modified for you. I did not finish modifying the whole bike as I decided to upgrade to Class 2A.

just FYI guys,

 

my IU unit was spoilt, and our bike is running on 6volts,

so there is an additional circuit beside the IU to convert 6volts to 12volts...

 

so i cut the wire connecting the converter to the IU unit itself and tested with my friends 12volts bike.. and its works.

 

so its not possible to convert my bike to 12volts just for the IU

 

so what i did was buy those 9volts (rectangle) battery and connect it to a small switch and there it goes ! i will only on the switch when i need to use the IU and it works ! and best of all ! its actually portable now.. cos its running on the 9volt battery ! and i think 9volts is enough although the optimum operation voltage is 12Volts..

 

 

my cheap $1.50 solution for those whose IU who might have the same problem..

My IU also spoilt liao, now riding without IU... cannot go city during peak hours

hi guys. i was going home from Harbourfront. it was about 7p.m. my bike does not have a IU unit. i took it off bacause it was faulty. on the CTE there is this ERP gantry that operates from 6-8 P.M. i stay around Ang Mo Kio. so my initiall plan was to exit at Upper Serangoon so that i can avoid the gantry. but i missed it. so what i did was i parked my bike on the shoulder and climbed over the drain and took shelter at the nearby block. at about 7:59PM i was walking back to my bike when the TP stopped behind my bike and took down my plate number. at that point of time, i have not reach my bike yet. the TP didnt see me. i received a letter yst from LTA stating that i was waiting at the e'way. the fine is $130 with 4 Demerit points. i didnt mean to wait at the e'way. i wanted to exit at U.Serangoon but i missed it.

 

can any of u guys help me out and tell me what i can write for the appeal.
