Anybody has spare seat to sell me??? My seat torn.... somemore recently rain water seeped into the foam, every time ride my bike will wet my pants...

 

Old one also can, as long as water proof can liao...

I was thinking of that, but since now the foam already wet... and it was already torn when I bought the bike. So I'm afraid the foam inside might already be in rotton/bad condition. So I thought might as well get another one, try my luck here in case you guys got spare when you all do up your bikes last time.

 

I went to ask is $30 bucks second hand seat. See whether can find cheaper lobang here first or not mah hee..

Hi guys, i've been very bz recently, due to the change in my workscope. now adjusting to the new work load . Plus i just reformatted my cpu~~~ Sighz nevertheless, i still try come in when i free~~

Thanks very much for the offer BOPTR, yesterday I traded in my seat for a second hand one for $30 coz thought I no one have...

 

Bad decision.

 

The shop gave me a seat that was rewrapped nicely outside but inside rusted so badly, the metal frame was corroded with holes...

 

I take it as $$ paid for a lesson learnt.

 

Many lessons to learn in life and they all cost $$, it was the same when I was building my own bicycles and r/c cars... hate the feeling of being carrot.

The shop is very popular amongst our RX riders... the one along Jalan Besar carrying alot of old school accessories. Nearest to 219 and POSB ATMs.

 

Too bad, I only have myself to blame for not checking it throughly enough... cos at that point of time the most important thing in my mind was to check the leather and make sure the seat was rain proof, some more rushing to buy raincoat, so never noticed the underside they sprayed black paint to cover up the rust.

 

I won't ask you guys to boy-cott that shop, cos the price there I think still quite reasonable and not easy to find parts for our bikes outside liao right?

 

Some more the mech there at least still got some knowledge in wiring... only thing I don't like is that they like to use force and hammer things when it doesn't fit. They don't understand that some things are just not meant to be.

 

I will still go there if need to, but will be more careful the next time.

i do it once evry 2 months whether or not the bike gives me problems.

any rxk owner wants a higher suspension? its already set at lowest but still high.. i wish to trade with a person with a lower rear suspension...

 

good for taller people who find the bike too short..

my ex-RXk under my care for 4yrs+ not more den 10 times E.O change. Nvr wash carb b4 , changed plug 3times? ( once is due to fouled plug)

 

My current RXk, owned for 4mths(mileage rode ard 7k) only did 1 servicing(E.O, Plug+ wash carb)oso changed tyres+ all brakes. So far made it to Desaru only T.T,

wanted to ride to pahang, but can't( my son got fever on the nite b4 our departure)

 

Now that sunny days are back, anyone wans to go desaru on RXk?? (dunno if kota tinggi still flooded??)
