Hi guys,

 

anyone goes for inspection ownself..nt thru mechanic

 

just wanna ask, round headlight and tail light can pass? will they check the angle (of the front headlight)?? or just check the brightness??

 

any rxk due for inspection, wanna go together?? b4 march??

i think most of us go direct to vicom for inspection. round headlight and tail light can pass as long as they are in good working condition ie got light! haha. the person inspecting it usually know that most Ks are 6volt so they are not too anal about it being like XENON BRIGHT!

err no advisable, i dun usually top up till brim full, just abt $11-12 worth of fuel can last me abt 150km untill it hit reserve. i usually go n refill when abt nearing the 145 mark coz scared gt last min need to rush to other place

This morning as I was riding along Farrer Road on the first lane, a black Harley rode pass me. As he passed me about 2 cars length, I saw him looking back on his mirrors. Then, I got a BIG Thumb's Up from him. I felt happy, I felt good! I did the same to him and he zoomed away gracefully!:)

 

Wow, The joy of riding met with someone who appreciates! Thought would like to share with my fellow K Kakis!:)

I used to do reserve all the way, pump at 200km. But my mech advise against it lol. How is it like to hit reserve when you're on the road? Will there be any signs for you to turn to reserve?

Hahaha.... I guess so. But I have always admire those people that I see on the websites in other countries gearing up when they ride on their beloved bikes. In SG, people from the Harley group wear their gear with pride when they ride. So I thought why not? And frankly speaking I do enjoy it, It makes me feel good! :) But I must admit, the weather here can proof too much. :(

Just to share, I pumped full tank (Shell 95) the last round and it last me abt 195km before it hit reserve. :)

hey hey... my full tank ard 8L plus reserve. it can last me ard 30-32km/l so therefore estimated ard 250km. How to know when u need to switch to reserve is when ur bike is jerking and feels heavy. Then switch to reserve. As it can last me ard 32km/L, its enuff for me to go and look for the petrol kiosk of my choice.

 

Just a tip, dun fill ur petrol to the brim especially for those who DIY spray their bike. Coz the weather will cause the petrol to kinnda expand and will leak thru ur tank cap and flow out and kena ur tank. I kena many times and i learn my lesson.

I am so f*cking devastated man. Bike cannot start again. I just had my ignition coil changed yesterday, and battery changed some time last week.

 

I don't even know what is wrong with the bike now. FML.

Hi bro, thanks a lot for replying. I got pull choke, but I didn't wanna touch the carb settings. I stay hougang, still thinking if I should just go to a random bike shop near my house to fix first.

 

Anyone got good bike shops to recommend at defu lane?

 

On a side note, just noticed this tube hanging from below my bike. Wonder is it related to my bike not starting. So damn troubling.
