Glad you are ok bro, few times I almost kena accident because of bad brakes also. But hey at least the car is not a mercedes. I witnessed a van hitting a mercedes bumper the other day lol.

And the water hitting your face? I think its the car in front using his windscreen washer. I also kena the other time when it was a bright and sunny day. I was wearing an open face without visor -_-

hi guys, thanks for the feedback. just got back from workshop. to repair the bumper cost $200. i end up paying 264 to the guy in total. 200 for the repair, 14 gst and 50 for loss in use. its all black and white. all signed up. i have the form, will scan it later tonite. anyway, i did ask the driver if the 200 includes workmanship/labour etc etc i was afraid the shop will charge him more(note bumper not fixed, will be fixed on monday). he said nvm, he just want to get it over with, lol. so there u go 200 for the repairs.

twdude: will be heading to joonseng later to check on fork. everything seems ok, riding is ok, alignment all is ok. but will take ur advice regarding the fork.

sevenz: yeah was worried about that, but we signed agreement already and he seems like a decent guy

wah u bery lucky leh... : )

so its just repair and not replace...

he could have asked for a new bumper if he is the fussy type or trying to be funny...

which bike are these boots originally for? definitely not the K right?

btw i read somewhere that the bajaj one will fit nicely... izzit true? Tks guys.

i see some of u having that low profile seat... bery nice

izzit mod from the stock seat or from another bike?

and anyone using offroad or dual purpose tyres like the TW?

sorry for so many qns... getting too excited over my new toy

u can go to blk 47 bendemeer road and a few shops along jalan besar to do the seats.

for premium quality at a premium price, u can go to eugene saddely, also along jalan besar.

hope my 2 cents help

saw a nice retro rxk wif pillion exiting ecp rochor, riding towards beach road. pls ride safely, coz u swerve to the right to u-turn, with none of ur signal light nor back light on. and ur pillion wearing black top..cant see u clearly from far especially at nite

Seat can do beside United @ Rowell. Friendly apek as he will try to accomadate to ur designs.

Fork boots... available at United. Just bought it last week but can't remember the price.. hahaha

I kena accident too wah lau eh. An hour ago. Was on the 1st lane going straight. Taxi from 2nd lane last minute wants to turn into u-turn pocket didn't check blindspot. So I knocked into his side and I flew off. I only got his name and contact number. Vaguely remember his carplate number. Jialat if he doesn't want to pick up my call. There were 2 witnesses but I didn't take down their contact . I think we're settling it ourselves though. He said he'll pay for my repairs and medical fees. Then he passed me $50 and sent me home. Lucky it was near my house/my bike shop.

Lucky only a few bruises and I think sprained wrist. Going to see polyclinic tomorrow. My brake lever broke, barend mirror bent (), footpeg bent, kickstart broke I think. Damn suay sia.

bro, make sure u report to ur insurance ASAP, within 24 hours, when u go hosp, make sure u have more than 3 days MC, to claim more. u nver noe, taxi drivers are the experts on the road, they noe how to claim against u..so just play safe.

That time I asked LAB..they say they OOS but can get from another shop $38. I didn't buy it cos they initially quote me $28. This 'shop' wanna cheat my money only.

Btw, thanks guys. The cabbie paid for my medical fees and repair fees already. Case closed thankfully. I got a fractured wrist though.
