To spray paint yr bike yrself for the military theme, u need:

Like Ultimax said, it should be 'olive green' not 'Dark Green'.

i saw this despatch rx-k. it had 2 sort of like metal boxes by the side which is rather small. prolly just big enuff to put cloths and tools in. anyone know where to get them?

 

and how to place them on the bike? must fabricate the frame ah?

There's a shop near Sungei Road/Ah Boy that sells old SAF equipment. Mainly stuff that has been condemned, like ammo boxes, jerry cans, old school army helmets etc. They even have radio antannaes.

 

You'll have to figure out how to mount the boxes. THat's the beauty of DIY

it's near Ah Boy. Just walk around, can't miss it. It's at the corner of 2 roads. I don't know the names of the roads though. They have jerry cans, ammo boxes, tool chests, hardware displayed outside their shop. It's opposite a coffeeshop, I think.

 

Each box is $8 or $10 I think. Let me see if I can get a better picture. The one I posted earlier is narrower than the ones sold by this shop (i think they're ammo cans for 40mm rounds for the SAF's M203)

u know where i can get the chrome rear rack like the one in this pic. most i found either cant fit rxk or is for vespa.

Hmm I'm not sure. I am assuming you've visited shops like ah boy.

 

You may have to custom make it? Seng Kwang can do it for you, but it won't be cheap. I'm guessing at least $100!

 

It might be cheaper if you bought a Vespa rack and got a shop to modify it for you.

Wah! Ammo Boxes! Won't be easy to fix on the bike if u have the rite tools to play wif. But $8 - $10 each is very good oredi.

 

What i use for my bike now is a bag attach to the rear rack.

BTW, try Unicorn 2T from Lim Ah Boy. Only $2 for 1 litre. Am using it now, and it's great! Cheap and good!!!

My fuel consumption? Dun noe ah, but i always refill my tank every 3 or 4 days @ JB. I spend not more than $40 per month tat is quite excellent.

 

$40 = 1 month supply of ciggies, full tank and 1 'Ramly' burger n drink:cheer:

have no problems with smoke. But since you kena fined before, i guess u should stick to low-smoke 2T
