HTC TOUCH Generation II

Hey ppl, I saw on cnet the HTC touch generation II... Wonder whether it is out and whether it is good... Anyone knows about it??? share share.

i am using one.. the enhanced version? it is great. been reading mapking off it, not much of a lag after the app is started. plan on getting a 2-in-1 gps receiver and bluetooth headset to go along with it, that is if such a thing exists.

just to update. i got myself a holux gps receiver and used it with mapking on the enhanced touch.. grabbing the saterlite signal was long a few minutes but after that the navigation is simply wonderful, no lag that i noticed. i loved my touch more now

i need MMS/GPRS/ideas singtel settings for my touch ASAP. i cant download MMSes coz i fly in out of countries frequently settings got corrupted. any help?

well well... i tot it's automatic configure 1? kinda of hard to explain... go to settings and look for network i tink it's there... definitely in setting though

if u want to use in office just get another mini usb cable. plug into you office pc's usb port can charge liao. many devices are using it. u may have 1 lying around at home, possible gadgets using it are digicams, card readers, external HDDs, etc. any cable that looks alike can charge liao.

possibility of batt flat out too soon maybe bcos applications are not closed. you can check the corner top right see whether applications are closed or not. running applications drain batts. there is an option in the touch settings>task manager>button> choose end applications by clicking X. then applications wun run in the background and unnecessarily drain batt liao.

if idle can use up to 3days...

yup usb cable... i didnt bring my charger home last weekend... and i managed to find a cable... the one tat connect my mouse to cpu... it can charge...

i tink the digicam 1 is slightly different size...

i remembered why my settings got lost. i did a ROM flash... heh... any kind souls can help me with the settings? im overseas cant get to call singnet

use regular rather than 3g network. helps a bit. still not sure where to buy spare charger though

you can download a trial version from mapking website http://www.mapking.com.sg/ There are "poor men's" copies scattered online as well then there are garmin maps which are usually up to date and free as well. i am using mapking for my htc touch

hey guys, i just got myself a bluetooth headset. managed to paired up with my htc touch but seems like it can receive/answer calls only. things like music/gps navigation all these not passed through the earpiece but come out from phone only. i wanna use it with my gps map ley, like that phone still mutters out directions but earpiece quiet.. am i doing anything wrong or is this how bluetooth headset works? pardon me i never used it before. or is there a setting somewhere to divert all sounds to my bluetooth earpiece?
