there's where the appeal comes into play.

 

for example,

 

a guy who just passed his 2b. 12 pts probation. he has a cl3 for 5 years.

 

caught speeding above 70km/hr of the legal road limit.

 

24 demerit points.

 

revoke license. BOTH cl3 and cl2b, because like i say, this dips applies to whole license.

 

APPEAL for suspension of cl3 only

 

appeal successful, cl3 suspended for 3 mths

 

cl2b REVOKED.

Yes..What you mention is the right thing...

 

Once u get a new class lic, it will be 12 pts for the whole lic..Getting a 12pts demerit offence will make ur lic liable to be revoke if ur lic is under 1 year..

 

Than again, it may not be with the invisible extra 1 pt..I got a friend who was caught on the spot beating the red light by a TP..End up he was given a 12 pts demerit but lic intact surviving on a single pt for quite sometimes..

 

On whether your 2b or 3 will be revoke together is on a case by case basis..

the answer is YES... my civilian cl2b/a revoke my army cl2b oso automatic bye bye... i kena that in 1999... :weep:

getting a 12 point demerit doesn't lead to revoke of license. it's getting of 13 demerit points and more that leads to revoke of license.

I appealed once...but not for speeding...its for riding on road shoulder...result: Fine waivered, no points deducted...

All I did was just to send an email...situation in the email was purely fictitious which I fabricated...:smile:

 

anyway good luck to you...

of course not...its around 7+ in the morning, was trying to get to sch but the jam was really bad...so i juz took the "bikers lane" ...afterwhich I saw a white car in front at the road shoulder and I juz road past it only to realise tt its a tp rex...I was like...OMG... :giddy:
