hey i did it for 110 with gasket @ P Motors. the neutral is so easy to engage now. each gear shift is smoother and easier to shift. can feel more power. as for my coolant, it boils off coz the thermostat was spoilt and no coolant went into the radiator... now i removed the thermostat valve.. still testing

Bought my 2nd hand Spec 2 2 months ago but Rectifier 'kong' last month and this is the one I remove from my bike. I replaced it with the Japan made which is slightly smaller. Can anybody tell me if this is the Original or not. Here's the pic attached.

Hi all. I jus got a spec 1. But the conditation is not so good. Needed some touch up. Cos the bike got fall off befor end can scratch , right crush bar dented and rear right signal light broken. So now 1stly i wanted to get any original 2nd hand end can for it. So any super 4 rider who wanted to sell yr end can to me pls pm me. And i wanted to know the crash bar came in pair? I too new on super 4 so pls pardon me if i abit blur. Thank.

 

i looking for the original end can for about $70.

I would like to ask a few questions. I just got my bike not long ago and just joined this forum. I have read a few thread and is kind of confused on certain issues. I hope someone here will be able to guide me along the way. I thank you all in advance. My questions are

 

1. What is the difference between Voltage Stabilizer, Grounding and Revtec?

2. What do these components do to increase bike performance?

3. Do I have to install all the above?

4. Lastly what is total mileage that a spec 1 can travel

recently bought a alarm frm ah boy, found tat whenever i push slightly 2 d side, d alarm doesnt wrk....so wanted ask ur comments...overrall is quit ok, lift ur d side stand, alarm will activate..... n if anyone use a fake key to turn on d ignition, it will activate oso....

d only disadvantage is, u hve 2 use ur plam to knock d bike hard then it will activate! if u shake d bike it will not activate! i hve try adjust d sensitivity but still d same...so wat u guys think? is it good or nt?

hi hai666,

if you juz got ur spec 1 from shop. you may request them to do it up before taking over it.

1. end can, can rewrap. nt much issue if u dun concern with looks.

2. crash bar and signal - do ask for it at the bike shop where u got it from. else u can get it at the sale section or motor shop. signal can buy from ah boi also.

yes you may. but most of the rider in the forum uses fully EO. just remember this no matter what EO as long as you change them freq. u are doing the engine good.

hi Kenneth,

1. all voltage stabilzer work the same using capacitor to filter away any unwanted noise. grounding create a shorter path for stray voltage/current back to the ground. this will cause a more "responsive" bike if you connect it correctly. revtec is another product that is similiar to voltage stabliser just in different form. no harm trying just imho no use. as i do not want to create another load to the bike by connecting it across the battery.

2. as above.

3. no, u dun need. if you really want. just do the grouding.

4. it all depend on the FC. my parthner use to clock abt 300km for a full tank alot more then my highly mod bike then however after a carb wash and tuning, the FC become 340km before reserve.

hi danz78, since you bought the alarm from ah boy and it is not working to your idea, you may either ask them to troubleshoot if it does not perform to the said requirements. if you wan a more sensitive alarm, pm me i will tell u over pm. remember this if you wan cheap, dun expect wonder from it. if you are paying ex for it. most prob u may get a quite decent alarm which can fullfilled your need. but is there a need? get what is sufficient.

I do know there are Bitubo rear shock replacement. Who are the distributor for Bitubo products? How much will a pair of rear shock cost?

u can try bikelab for the fork springs. or ask the shop u frequent to source for u better springs. for bitubo shocks, i think mezzo is the distributor.

[Q] I currently have 2 super four bike plate FR. COE till 2009 dec. Have been posting it under garage sale for about a month and nobody is interested. Want to push the bike back to bike shop.. any idea which bike shop is good to sell and will fetch me higher price. bike in stock condition. Currently the bike range from 3.5k-4k from wat i read on thread.. anything do advice.. thanks bikers!
