Need help!

 

I am about to join the Phantom family as I am buying one.

 

I recently check out a 2nd bike.

 

Bike has few cosmetic issues so I like u guys to advice if the issue is “resolvable” by polishing.

 

See attached picture for the condition

 

Issue 1: Rust at Headlight Area

 

Issue 2: Scuffs & scratches at Key Hole Area

 

Issue 3: Rust at Sissy Bar/Back Rest Area

 

Last 4: Is it normal to hear the clicking sound after engine is off ?

issue 1 and 3 is common. change it or like me, use rust remover.

2: a little bad.. but cos its a fairly cheap bike so cant complain to much.

4: clicking sound from? if its somewhere near the exhaust and you hear it after riding then its common. do post your queries at the newbie Q&A thread to keep this sales thread neater.

Never been into any form of accident though it is only my 1st year of riding (just took off the P-plate on 28th Febuary)

 

Bike is washed weekly or biweekly (Sorry, I'm quite busy with my school work).

Chain replaced with a new one recently (Early Febuary), spark plug, EO (EO is of mid quality, as being a full time student doesn't really entitles me to much money), air filter changed 1 or 2 weeks ago.

 

Not really in a rush to sell, still taking 2A and wishes to upgrade to GSR 400

History of bike:

Engine is in good condition. Fc is 32 - 35km/l(shell 95).

Self skidded 3 days after i got my bike. Some cosmetic damages but the engine is spared of any damages. Resprayed mudguard. New handlebar changed. Serviced only by ah wan of vs motorsports. Very good transport bike.

 

Currently still under loan from motodiam but will settle full if buyer willing to settle in full cash. Pls find own refinance. Not in a hurry to sell.
