This one no JMCA...so confirm cannot pass inspection hahaha.

This one got JMCA...pending approval which is since March 2008 I think. Was quoted $1.2k If not wrong at MW.

I'm not suprise you have seen them :) . But honestly, I dun think they are able to get approval. GSR400 is a PI bike, the major problem is getting a homologation certificate.

anyway, i miss wildcard.

update: tonight's petrol run has 5 confirmed and 1 pending. all stealth riders, play by sms one..

 

too bad for me ..cant go ..friday working and need be in office at 8am...:dozed:

Dat one ask already...a few of the GSR riders have submitted their names to GPRAsia to push for the pipes approval. Up till today, still pending hahaha.

i only manage 22km with dinie method.

rev only till 400, on 6th gear slowly go 90..

 

altoguh i only manage to do this 93% on the time, quite happy can touch 22km...

Ask already...they guy dun wanna say. Like so secretive. Dun even wanna say what pipe are in the approval stage.

 

Its like he dunno or muz keep it top secret.

until confirmed, or when ready for official approval,

they aint allowed to disclose any bit of information...

thats e govt (sector) for u...

whether they noe or dunno... oso cant tell u anything, or even hint it...

else they ll be in deep ****...

what if we buy the pipes and bring it to lta for inspection? will pass or not?

 

Can, buy pipe. Ask the mech/manufacturer for diagram on the installation together with the picture of the mech install it.

 

Then get the manufacturer cert stated that the pipe is approved and legal for GSR400 and emission standard as in Europe criteria. (This is hard, as UK dont produce GSR400 pipe) UK emission cert really carry weight..

 

Then send for LTA for testing. Your bike will stay at LTA few days.

 

1 reason shop say pending is that they got no GSR to let LTA "test" ..

 

If yours approved, then next person ..no need all those steps anymore..only need to buy and send LTA inspection..30mins...
