help! my GSR tank's suzuki logo chrome sticker peel off, wad can i do?

Haha ... I was the one who posted the pricing for the Suzuki logo. HKL quoted me that price, but in the end I decided not to get it. Yeah ... mine was the the silvery part of the logo that peel off. Till now it is still like that. Anyway, it's not a big deal. My bike is not going for any model shoot ... so I just leave it as it is.

 

Yeah it affected the performance of the bike -1bhp due to the flapping of the peeled off sticker. Just joking.

If i were you, i ditch the 'S' and get transformers or what to replace them hehehe. That is me. You could try GH for the 'S'. Will be super-ex.

 

Online or car accessories shop like autobacs might have. But not the same one.

Yes, they do have, but you better call them to check if they have the stock yet. Last I went there, I asked them, they say they dun have it at their location, but the mech called somewhere and check and told me the pricing, if I interested then I go back again to fix it. Dunno if they ever bring in yet, so I dun want you to waste your time go there and wait.

Yah, just as I thought becos they are not sticker shop, so no point for them to keep a bunch of Suzuki Logo in their shop. Only when people ask, then they bring it in. As for pricing, can bargain with the mech. Ask for Keong, he is friendly. Say that another GSR rider actually told you the pricing to be at $18. As for service charge, if they wanna charge you, then tell them to screw off... taking out sticker and pasting it back also wanna charge? I'm sure the cost of $18 includes the taking out and pasting.

 

Personally, I think $18 is still not worth to change the logo. Like Razi say, I rather choose a new pattern than to paste back the same logo... custom stickers or pre-made stickers are definitely at cheaper price. I am just waiting for it to totally peel off then I change. Maybe sticking a Harley Davidson logo or BMW or the Moto Guzzi logo haha...

Sad to hear that you have got no help from anyone of us here. Reason being we already owned a GSR, hence we do not always go check out the price of it anymore.

 

Yeah, you might be lucky if you come across any new buyers just like you who will quote the price and ask us if it is reasonable... but now, there are none. So, it is best that you go check out with the bike shops and probably let us know the pricing for which shops are quoting...

 

Some bros here are very well resourced... and they know which shops are trustworthy to go for.. so maybe you can ask them which bikeshop to go, instead of asking us the price.

there's a reason why we dont want to help you out with the bike pricing cos it varies from one and another! like mine, i got it $14k in 2006. ah gui got his $13800.. Some other riders either paid more or less. The OTR price varies as the COE (last i checked $1000) and insurance will be very much different.

 

So, if you're really interested in the bike, why not go around, do some footwork and visit bike shops. I'm sure they'll be very happy to entertain you, plus its their job to answer question like "how much does a GSR cost?"
